Image: Five dangerous ways America is on a COLLISION COURSE with itself

(Natural News) Today’s Situation Update analysis reveals how America is on multiple collision courses with itself. For example:

  • The rapidly expanding 2nd Amendment sanctuary movement will collide with the Biden regime’s attempts to outlaw and confiscate guns from private citizens.
  • The mass pollution of soils (biosludge), oceans (microplastics) and the food supply (pesticides) will collide with the increasing demands for food, resulting in global famine and mass starvation.
  • Massive money printing will collide with collapsing supply lines, resulting in hyperinflation and widespread shortages in consumer goods, automobiles and even military equipment parts.

(Listen to the full podcast for more examples.)

The truth is that America is on a collision course with itself, and nothing can stop what’s coming in terms of catastrophic ramifications in the food supply, currency collapse, economic collapse, social collapse and the collapse of the rule of law (which is already well under way).

The America you once knew is ancient history. And as I predicted years ago, the United States of America as we know it will no longer exist by 2025, if not sooner. (The timeline actually looks like it has been moved up to 2022 – 2023.)

Clueless local governments are injecting all their own employees with biological weapons

In San Franshitsco, government leaders are now demanding that all 35,000 city employees take covid vaccines as soon as the FDA officially approves them. As I comment in the podcast, this sure is a rapid method for cutting the size of government, since some significant portion of those 35,000 people will of course be dead (or brain dead) within 1 – 3 years, if they are truly forced to take the vaccine.

This is government eating itself alive, deploying biological weapons on its own obedient workers, obviously with catastrophic results.

And it begs the question: How will San Franshitsco function if a quarter or a third of its employees are dead or non-functional? Answer: It won’t. Like most blue cities, San Franshitsco will collapse into utter chaos, lawlessness, unbounded violence and Third World conditions.

Much the same will likely happen across Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, New York City, Chicago and other predominantly Democrat-run cities. There is no future for America where things return to the “normal” of 2019. All the money printing in the world — and all the media lies — can’t put Humpty Dumpty back together again.

They’ve broken the golden goose. They’ve destroyed the rule of law, the economy and the health of the American people. They’ve terrorized the citizenry with journo-terrorism and CRT indoctrination. There is no recovery from this, only escalating hardship, suffering and mass destruction, all by design.

Will America lose 230 million of its citizens by 2025?

At this point, it’s no longer difficult to see how the Deagel.com prediction put the U.S. population at around 99 million people by the year 2025. That prediction described the death of around 230 million people. How do we get to those numbers? It’s not much of a stretch:

The CDC says 178 million Americans have already taken at least one vaccine injection, so many of those people will no longer be living by 2025. Then there are the anticipated deaths from engineered famine (mass starvation) being put in place by globalist psychopaths. With the food riots will come mass violence, lawlessness and a total breakdown of city infrastructure, including functioning sewage systems, the electrical grid and any last remaining hope of emergency services. The resulting chaos could easily kill 100 million Americans from the murder, disease (stemming from a total lack of sanitation infrastructure such as running water), exposure to the elements and a total collapse of basic health services. That doesn’t even count the possible number of casualties from regional conflicts (local “civil war” eruptions) that are likely to occur in California, Oregon, Washington, Illinois and other regions.

As all this occurs, the weaker America becomes within its own borders, to more quickly foreign enemies will escalate their own planned invasion and occupation of America. Thus, every American citizen that’s killed by vaccines is one less defender of the nation, from the point of view of the communist Chinese regime that wants to conquer and occupy the continental United States in order to grow enough food to feed its people. (I cover this in last week’s podcast about the imminent cyber warfare threats against America.)

There will be survivors after all this runs its course, but those survivors won’t be weak-willed snowflakes, soy boys, panzies and preferred-pronoun libtard whiners. Only the most durable and prepared among us will still be alive by the end of 2025, barring some sort of divine intervention that somehow halts all these things from happening.

Bill C-6 is ‘devastating’ to democratic rights, and a ‘direct attack on the Christian faith’

This bill should be devastating to any Canadian who supports democratic rights, and will present a direct attack on the Christian faith, and any faiths that upholds the value of traditional marriage. Fri Jun 25, 2021 – 10:50 am EST

June 25, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – In December, I interviewed Jojo Ruba of Free to Care on the impact of Bill C-6 after his testimony to parliamentarians, the so-called “conversion therapy ban” that would restrict the right of same-sex attracted people to seek the therapy and care they choose. In February, I spoke on the podcast with Colette Aikema, who also struggled with same-sex attraction and has testified publicly against Canada’s “conversion therapy bans.” With the passage of Bill C-6 this week in the House of Commons, I spoke with Jojo Ruba to get his reaction.

Bill C-6 has passed. What is your reaction?

JVM Show

It’s heartbreaking. This bill should be devastating to any Canadian who supports democratic rights. This Bill uses a definition of conversion therapy that no medical or professional body uses and no other government in the world uses, except for a handful of governments in Canada. The definition bans both orientation change counselling and behavioural change counselling, even if it does not involve orientation change. This means LGBTQI Canadians would be denied access to support that is available to every other Canadian. Those who want to support us could go to jail for 5 years. That is a clear violation of Charter rights.

What will the impact on Canadians like yourself and those you speak for be?

Bill C-6’s passing means if I want to go to my pastor, imam or priest and ask for help to manage my same-sex attractions so I can choose to remain celibate, my own religious leader would have to choose to help me and risk going to jail or choose not to do anything and let me suffer on my own. The law actually makes it impossible for me to get support to remain celibate. Even the Justice Minister admitted that consenting adults like myself could only get counselling support if it is free. But even if it is free, no one is allowed to advertise, even verbally promote, this counselling under threat of going to jail for 2 years. This clearly violates my right to have conversations with other Canadians of my choice. SUBSCRIBE to LifeSite’s daily headlines U.S. Canada World Catholic

What do Christians need to know about this, in a nutshell?

The Bill makes a fake exception that says I can get counselling to explore my sexual orientation or gender identity. But then it says I cannot seek counselling that would “favor” one sexual orientation or gender identity. That would be criminal.

This will present a direct attack on the Christian faith (and frankly other faith that upholds the value of traditional marriage). Because it directly bans any “practice, treatment or service,” Bill C-6 threatens any kind of prayer event, sermon, or teaching we have that “reduces” non-heterosexual behaviour. Publicly praying for those struggling with gay feelings or including information for a Christian counselling service in a sermon or youth gathering could now be seen as “promoting” conversion therapy.

JH Weston Show

Worse, this Bill is complaint-based. Anyone can raise a complaint about your church, Christian group or event and because it is a criminal bill, the police must investigate it. Even if a church does everything it can to avoid even looking like it is doing “conversion therapy,” it can still die a death of a thousand complaints. — Article continues below Petition — PETITION: Support Christian Cake Baker, Jack Phillips, against latest LGBT harassment effort

What happens next? Is there any recourse?

What happens is next is the federal election this summer, likely August or Sept. Bill C-6 will pass third reading today (by the time you read this, it will already be passed). Of course, no bill becomes law until it passes the Senate as well. All signs point that there will be an election. And if that’s the case, the Bill won’t become law unless the Liberals win again. They will then have to reintroduce it in the House again and in the Senate. The timeline we’re working on is that this Bill will become law in November or December 2021.

We need Canadians to work through this election to educate their political candidates then educate them when they get elected and demand they protect the right of all of us to get the counselling support of our choice. We basically get to do this debate all over again.

What do you think will be the long-term consequences?

The other thing this Bill will do is get Christians to self-censor. At a time when young people are desperate for help navigating through sexual and gender identity questions, Christians will choose to avoid this topic altogether to avoid going to jail. Capitulating on this issue of course means that the church will just continue to compromise on every cultural attack in the future. At that point, we truly cease to represent an alternative to a secular culture, the alternative Christ commanded us to be.

June 25, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — The following article was published by Dr. Robert Hickson and Dr. Maike Hickson on their personal blog, and is reprinted here with permission.

A Note from the Authors on 24 June 2021 (the Nativity of St. John the Baptist): In late  August 2012, now almost 10 years ago, while we were reading and discussing together candidly a variety of challenging books, my wife and I both considered a few recurring and connected insights in these counterpointed texts which we then decided to write down, and then also to present some of this thoughtful matter to some others, especially for their corrections and discerning deeper judgments. These matters included the isolation of the human soul and the trials of protracted human isolation (Belloc); a refreshing Christian paradox about the temporal and supernatural realms (Jacques Maritain); the uprooting of the family, not only of the Christian and of the Catholic family; the only partly knowable conduct of some influential financial and political oligarchs and their often unaccountable covert networks; and the misuse of language (as in sophistry) its consequential helping along, and often covering up, the abuse of power. May the brief consideration we offer here still be a worthy contribution to some important discourse, and be even timely.

Money-and-Language Manipulation: New Methods of Modern Oligarchs

Epigraph: A Christian Paradox to Limit the Temptation to Pharisaical Presumption

“The order of good moral and civil administration prescribes that publicans and prostitutes shall take rank after persons of honorable life. The order of the Kingdom of Heaven permits publicans and prostitutes to take rank, in the inscrutable judgment of God, before persons of honorable life.” (Jacques Maritain, Freedom in the Modern World, London: Sheed & Ward, 1935), p. 78 – my emphasis added.)

The inhuman state we humans are living in at this point of history is getting clearer every day. It gets more and more obvious that the ruling elites are detached from the people they are ruling and that even these elites are ruled by other, mostly financial, elites. The citizens often feel powerless in the face of social, moral, financial and even natural disorder.

Part of the analysis today will have to look at the effects of the destruction of the family. Much courage, independent thought and cohesiveness have been taken from the citizens (often with their own collaboration) by the isolation of man from his other family members, especially by divorce (the lack of care for the vulnerable, the little ones and the old, often is the result of a lack of a housewife who is at home and thereby able to provide the care). There is just barely any more an existing harbor for us, where we have a refuge and a stronghold, a support and the love that would sustain us more fully in any political struggle. Yes, we are weakened by broken bonds, strife over children’s custody, division of property, rebukes and remorse. We have sunk down into the moral and social anarchy which has grave effects for the Bonum Commune. Such a hedonistic (“I only do what gives me pleasure”) and atomized society is too much self-absorbed to be able to look at the large picture in society and to act upon its analyses.

The moral foundation of society has been wrecked, by an endless attack on the Christian faith and culture which was the foundation for a flourishing civilization. Analysts have shown the destructive effects of the theories of several cultural and political institutions and foundations (like the Tavistock Institute and the Frankfurt School) upon society and family. The Christian Creed and Morals gave the people the help and the disciplined structure to live better in this world, even though this world will always also be a valley of tears. We cannot escape the suffering. And love hurts.

Europe has seen many wars and revolutions in the last two and a half centuries. They have largely contributed to the self-destruction of a society where a child cannot (and may not) any more play unharmed in the public playgrounds and where elderly are not any more respected, protected and actively helped by the young. What kind of people are we that we do not protect any more the vulnerable ones, one of the major aims of Christianity? The Lord was not jesting in the Gospel of Matthew 25:31-46. “Whatsoever you do to the least of my brethren, you do it to me.”

How have we come to this state of gradual rejection or quiet apostasy?

Much research has been done on the history of revolution and war as a means to fragment, destabilize, disrupt and atomize, formerly coherent and rooted societies, especially Christian. (These techniques are now, as it seems, applied more and more to the still somewhat consistent and resistant Muslim countries). War and revolution destroy the existing political stabilities and governments and uproot and destroy families by death and upheaval. Who was behind the destruction of the once coherent Christian countries in Europe?

It is known now that all the major leaders of the Enlightenment movement which replaced a Faith in God by a Faith in “Reason” of sorts were Freemasons. Freemasons aimed at the destruction of the Monarchy (as a stabilizing factor and somewhat a bulwark against money-manipulation, especially if the King was truly Christian) and of the Catholic Church as the moral guide. Both were attacked and undermined by the French Revolution, and in the sequence, by the growing nationalist movements in the 19th century which aimed at the replacement of the previous order and morals by an overstrengthening of the nationalistic feelings of the people and by centralizing the political power. Monarchies were much more subsidarian than ever were modern states.

At a closer look, it becomes clear that the oligarchies who run today the money and language manipulation (as a tool for governance) were already then involved in the financing of the revolutions since 1789, most prominently in the Russian Revolution, but also even of the disruptive and inhuman national-socialist revolution in Germany. Names like the Warburgs, the Mellons, the Rothschilds and the Rockefellers are to be mentioned here, among others.

Many leading figures of all the revolutions and of new philosophies in the modern era have been very interested in the occult world, and often in the higher Gnostic Freemasonry, specifically. Karl Marx wrote poems in honor of Satan; Freud secretly believed in the occult; Hegel himself was deeply rooted in the Kabbalah; many of the leaders of the Enlightenment were Rosicrucians. Charles Darwin, whose theory of the survival of the fittest is in accord with dialectical thinking (i.e., there is always a purported thesis and an antithesis, out of whose environmental conflict results a “better” or “more fit” synthesis), stems from a family deeply rooted in Freemasonry. Friedrich Nietzsche was initiated into the Eleusinian Cults and his book “Beyond Good and Evil” represents the essence of Gnostic thinking, i.e., that in the dialectical way we humans have to move beyond the old Christian antagonism of good and evil and have to embrace both in a higher synthesis. Historical research only later will show how many of those intellectuals who convinced the masses that there is no God and that atheism is a form of liberty, were themselves truly believing in the existence of the world beyond, with the difference that they followed the evil one, often using an euphemism, such as Lucifer. It would explain the evil effects of their philosophies and theories. What if one day it would come to light that the so-called enlightened people of today had fallen into the trap of mere propaganda, deception and self-deception? One only needs to look at the fruits of those “freeing” theories. The financial oligarchies, intertwined with the intellectual elites, have both promoted and empowered the state we are in today. They have apparently needed uprooted people for their plans of manipulative governance and profit-making. — Article continues below Petition — PETITION: Stand with Hungary for protecting children from LGBT propaganda

The history of the last two centuries and more cannot be written without the immense role of these financial oligarchies. Their aim: the destruction of the Christian culture and civilization with its human face and compassion for the poor and the vulnerable and the strengthening of ideologies and movements which lead to a fragmentation and destabilization of the societies, which are constituted by humans who are mostly living in families. That is where these oligarchies needed specious (but false) theories and propaganda to instill ideas into the minds of men that would lead them away from a healthy and more fully virtuous way of life: Feminism, Communism, Socialism, Darwinism, Capitalism, Gender-Mainstreaming, to name but a few, are all leading people to help to form a less humane society. They all lead to the disruption of family life, the nucleus of human freedom and love.

It is very worthwhile in this context to go back a hundred years and to look at the work and writings of a few courageous men with a big heart, men of mercy and magnanimity, who in England fought the beginning of this modern (early 20th century) work of destruction, with love, keen intellect and the Catholic Faith as their differentiated tools: Hilaire Belloc, G.K Chesterton and Father Vincent McNabb. All three men discerningly saw the sprouting of these above-mentioned theories, many of which first sprang up in England at the time, and they perseveringly and joyfully resisted them. They had a longer historical view and the right criteria and standards to see the inherent actual consequences, as well as the fuller final logical implications, of such false theories.

Chesterton in his book What’s Wrong with the World (1910)for example, presented in a lovely and warm way the beauty of the home, especially made by a wife and mother who loves her whole family and makes a home with love and care. Elsewhere, he also showed the cruelty of divorce and its evil effects, especially upon the children.

JH Weston Show

Hilaire Belloc resisted the growing power of the state (something that seldom existed ever before in a Monarchical state) in his book The Servile State (1912). He also strongly resisted the spirit of mammon which was spreading in his time and defended the local and rooted life on the countryside.

Father McNabb, in his The Church and the Land book (1926),[1] resisted the moving of the people into to the cities and argued that they should return more rootedly to the land, where a family can live independently and make a living by skilled crafts and by farming on its own land, and with responsibility and accountability.

They all three saw the importance of private property and personal responsibility and saw the frigidly indifferent and manipulative ill-rule of these financial oligarchies.

They fought with magnanimity and they always gave persevering encouragement.

They all three are connected with the mediating concept of Distributism, which is a real answer to the old dialectic between Capitalism and Socialism, inasmuch as it proposes to assure that the great majority of citizens owns their own land and are thereby made capable to live a dignified and ideologically independent life.

These three authors are worthy to be studied in the context of our time and the troubles we are facing. They, too, resisted, already then, aggressive military intrusions and intervention, as in the case of the British Empire’s two, and slyly expanding, Boer Wars (1880-1881; 1899-1902), especially the second one. They also criticized biological and social Darwinism, Euthanasia and any other form of inhumanity. But, they also acted in their own personal lives according to their beliefs. There is a very touching story about Father McNabb himself in old age, who, secretly dressed up in old woman’s clothes, sneaked regularly into a little apartment of a very elderly and sick woman and cleaned her apartment. This only came gradually to light when he died in 1943 and the woman was suddenly left without any help in her state of vulnerability and illness.

Criminal Capitalism for the Elites, Collective Socialism for the Masses?

Since the time of these authors we have now discussed, much has been further developed. The old dichotomy between Capitalism and Socialism has been brought into a new synthesis, into globalist Capitalism with a Socialist side: the merging of the two opposites, still following the old Hegelian dialectic. With each step, more and more cultural, religious and human substance gets destroyed and subtly undermined. Here is how these two former opposites work now together, enhanced by the new methods and technologies of the 21th century, with its multi-media and consumerist apparatus and with it further-developed psycho-drugs and psycho-techniques.

Capitalism is used as a tool to further uproot local businesses and farms, to further destroy family life through inhuman work schedules and fear of loss of jobs, a new form of slavery.

Socialism is used in the welfare-warfare state to make people mentally vaguer, sluggish and inordinately dependent. It also is used as a tool to turn the limited state into an intrusive therapeutic state which has a say in every matter, even in the most intimate questions of the education of children, and of how women should run their household, and so on.

While the early revolutions in modern times manifested much violence, the new methods of domination and of manipulative control today have been sophisticated and are in general less violent. While Communism had still its Gulag System, and Nazism its concentration camps, the modern man today is in the trap of consumerism, body idolatry, sexual degeneration and technological bondage and especially “electronic slavery.” Many people are so softened and occupied that they have neither the capability nor the will any more to think, so as to draw essential conclusions and to act upon them.

One of the conclusions of this little essay is that one has to live out oneself, and more fully, the precepts and counsels and generous invitations of Christianity in order to be able to be convincing and appealing to other people. Real charity in its generous selflessness still touches the human heart. When truth is spoken, it still appeals to the human mind.

–CODA–

One of the great advantages in our time of the United States, with all its all-too-well-known problems, is the greater spiritual and spatial freedom that still exist. One good example is the Homeschool Movement. The numbers of families who withdraw their children from the state schools and their propaganda and moral sewage are growing very considerably. They just school them at home with the help of the many homeschool organizations which provide them with learning material and indispensable guidance, or they organize themselves into subsidiary co-operatives. These families make use of their still-legal liberties in this country to nourish the minds of their little ones with truth and a fitting sense of proportion and purpose, not with intellectual and moral corruption.

A timely and timeless warning from the wisdom of Hilaire Belloc, from his chapter concerning the truly tragic life of Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots and rival of Elizabeth Tudor, the Queen of England who, at the persistent prompting of her main counsellor William Cecil, then finally herself reluctantly consented to Mary Stuart’s unjust execution, after having kept her imprisoned in England and sequestered for many years (almost nineteen). From his heart, Hilaire Belloc therefore says: “Isolation is the chief evil of human life and isolation was imposed upon this woman [Mary Stuart] always and everywhere. When she made one desperate effort to be rid of it [i.e., of that protracted, terrible isolation] that effort was itself fatal to her.” (Hilaire Belloc, Elizabethan Commentary (London: Cassell and Company LTD, 1942), page 158—my emphasis added.)

WINNIPEG, Manitoba, June 25, 2021 (Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms) –The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms today released “Lockdowns and the Science of COVID,” a paper based on the medical and scientific evidence presented recently before the Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench by expert witness Dr. Jay Bhattacharya.

MM Live

Dr. Bhattacharya is a tenured Stanford professor of medicine, with particular expertise in the health and well-being of vulnerable populations. As a co-author of the Great Barrington Declaration, he and over 50,000 medical doctors and infectious disease specialists have called on governments to lift lockdown restrictions on healthy people and instead provide ‘focused protection’ to the elderly and infirm. This would allow for herd immunity to develop safely amongst healthy people.

Image
Dr. Jay Bhattacharya

Dr. Bhattacharya served as an expert witness on behalf of several Justice Centre Applicants in a Charter challenge to Manitoba’s lockdown restrictions. The hearing concluded in May, and the Court’s decision is pending.

“For over fifteen months, Canadians have had their Charter freedoms violated by lockdown policies that don’t stand the test of science,” says lawyer Allison Kindle Pejovic, staff lawyer at the Justice Centre.

“The opinions expressed by Dr. Bhattacharya give us ample reason to doubt the medical and scientific basis for lockdown measures,” stated Pejovic. SUBSCRIBE to LifeSite’s daily headlines U.S. Canada World Catholic

This paper provides medical and scientific evidence to support the following:

  • COVID does not pose a serious threat to the health of the population
  • COVID spread by asymptomatic (healthy) people is rare
  • Lockdowns violate principles of good health policy and public health practice
  • Lockdowns are not necessary to maintain and enhance health and well-being
  • Lockdowns are harmful to the health of the population
  • Variant strains of COVID do not justify continued lockdowns
  • Lockdown harms are not equitably distributed
  • Children do not pose a high risk of disease spread
  • Contact tracing is not effective in controlling disease spread
  • Lockdowns are especially harmful to young adults
  • Religious services are beneficial to participants and can be held safely
  • Restaurants and bars can be opened safely
  • Gyms, martial arts studios and other physical fitness venues benefit public health and can operate with minimal risk of disease spread
  • Focused protection is a better way to protect the population without impairing human rights, civil liberties and basic principles of public health
  • There is lasting natural immunity after recovering from a COVID infection
  • A positive PCR test does not prove that an individual poses a risk of infecting others
  • Florida is an example of a jurisdiction that had success following the focused protection approach
  • Florida fully lifted lockdown measures by September 2020, including masks mandates, and fared better in terms of age-adjusted COVID mortality rates than California, which had one of the strictest lockdowns in the United States.

“In the past fifteen months, politicians and chief medical officers have asserted repeatedly at news conferences that lockdowns are scientific and evidence-based, without providing the public with that scientific evidence,” continues Pejovic. — Article continues below Petition — PETITION: Stand with Hungary for protecting children from LGBT propaganda

“The evidence tells us that lockdowns are a poor response to COVID-19, and that lockdowns are not a justified violation of our Charter rights and freedoms,” adds Pejovic.

“Our challenge to Canada’s federal and provincial governments boils down to this: after fifteen months of locking people down, isolating them from their friends and family, closing schools, bankrupting businesses, and closing houses of worship, show us your science,” concludes Pejovic.

BUDAPEST, Hungary,  June 25, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – The family policy implemented in Hungary is one of the most successful ones in Europe and its secret lies in its purpose: ensuring that the marrying, starting a family and having children does not mean any financial or social disadvantage – it was explained by Balázs Molnár, vice president of the Maria Kopp Institute of Demography and Family, in the most recent edition of the Transatlantic Dialogues organized, on June 18, by the Political Network for Values (PNfV).

MM Live

The Transatlantic Dialogues are a virtual colloquium organized monthly by PNfV for the exchange of ideas, good practices, analysis and experiences between political representatives and decision makers from countries in Europe, America and Africa.

On this occasion, Molnár, who is a former Deputy Secretary of State for European Affairs of the Prime Minister’s Office, detailed the impact and the results of a decade of family policy that generated a favourable, family-friendly environment in his country: growth in the number of marriages, the fall of the numbers of divorces, more births, fewer abortions, more families with their own homes, appreciation of motherhood and the role of grandparents and younger people with the desire to form a family.

The figures are overwhelming: the fertility rate increased from 1.25 in 2010 to 1.55 in 2020, which is the highest value since 1996; the number of live births increased by 2.1% and abortion fell by almost half.

While between 2002 and 2010 during the period of leftist governments, the number of marriages decreased by 23%, since 2010 it has increased by 89.5% and the number of divorces has decreased by 57%. According to the Hungarian Central Statistical Office, the majority of young people, 90%, want to have children, 43% at least two, and 18% three or more. And all these data have not had a negative impact on female employment, which raised from 54.6% in 2010 to 67% in 2020. SUBSCRIBE to LifeSite’s daily headlines U.S. Canada World Catholic

In fact, despite the pandemic, in 2020, the total employment rate reached 75%, above the average of the European Union (EU) and the unemployment rate was 4.2%, the sixth lowest figure of the continent. This is a favourable evolution of the employment rates. The figures show that having a healthy economy and prioritizing the family as the centre of governmental efforts are not conflicting aspects, on the contrary.

Balázs Molnár stressed out that, unlike other countries, Hungary did not focus its family policy on giving money to have children, but instead, to set up a wide system of support so that families “do not live on their children, but for their children.”

Subsidies for young marriages, state-backed home loans and mortgage credit decline with the arrival of children, and the progressive reduction of income tax progresses by the number of children (many families in the country with 3 or more children do not pay any personal income tax).

There is also support for the purchase of vehicles for large families, financial support for mothers who take care of their young children, a wide network of nurseries for those who are re-joining the labour market, a modality where grandparents can carry out the work of caring for children, paid grandchildren and tax reduction for companies that hire mothers, among others. All aimed at forming a favourable social environment for families and guaranteeing a predictable horizon for parents. In Europe, the Hungarian government spends the most on families, representing almost 5% of GDP. — Article continues below Petition — PETITION: Stand with Hungary for protecting children from LGBT propaganda

Catholic university run by Jesuits teaches course on marijuana

The solution is not marijuana. The solution is Christ, and the leadership of Saint Joseph’s University should know this. Fri Jun 25, 2021 – 9:58 am EST

June 25, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — When you think of a Catholic University, you probably think of a top-notch school with high moral standards, a focus on shaping future thought leaders, and strengthening Christ-like ideals of love, forgiveness, charity, and hope in their student body.

Yet for Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, a Jesuit institution, the aspirations are much higher. They want to teach your college-aged students about cannabis agriculture, law, and policy, and the challenges and opportunities of working in this booming industry. For a six-month course, at the low price of $2,950 (payment plans available), you can receive a certificate proving that you’re ready to grow, harvest, and sell cannabis.

The university’s website touts the industry’s growth and potential. A promotional video highlights that the cannabis job market is enjoying an astounding 135% growth — renewable energy, counseling/psychiatry, and home health care industries are growing at a much lower rate of 100% or less.

JVM Show

And perhaps this is all true. Cannabis is a growing industry in the nation, especially as laws begin to ease and the stigma of cannabis use lessens. But it doesn’t take away the fact that we’re still talking about marijuana. A drug. A substance that is known to have harmful effects.

Pediatrics, the official Journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, published an article in 2017 covering concerns with the significant increase in recreational/medical marijuana use across the nation due to loosening legislation. The article explained that the “adverse effects of marijuana have been well documented. Numerous published studies have shown the potential negative consequences of short- and long-term use of recreational marijuana in adolescents. These consequences include impaired short-term memory and decreased concentration, attention span, and problem-solving skills, all of which interfere with learning. Alterations in motor control, coordination, judgment, reaction time, and tracking ability have also been documented. These effects may contribute to unintentional deaths and injuries among adolescents, especially those who drive after using marijuana. Negative health effects on lung function associated with smoking marijuana also have been documented.” The article further explained that the “adolescent brain, particularly the prefrontal cortex areas that control judgment and decision-making, is not fully developed until the early 20s, raising questions about how any substance use may affect the developing brain.”

The preeminent authority on the developing mind of the adolescent child or young adult clearly states that marijuana — or cannabis, as society likes to euphemistically refer to it — is not good for the brain. One of the key takeaways is that it can negatively impact learning and brain development. SUBSCRIBE to LifeSite’s daily headlines U.S. Canada World Catholic

Does this not concern Saint Joseph’s University leadership and faculty? Are they not in the least concerned that by teaching a course on marijuana it won’t influence their students to partake in this drug? What about students they taught starting to sell the drug to others?

I first learned of this course by way of an online ad, which means the school’s marketing department is putting significant resources behind a public awareness push of the program. Perhaps it’s seen as a potential cash-cow for their university, especially considering the industry’s growth.

When I looked up the school — I must admit I wasn’t familiar with the University prior to seeing the ad — I was amazed to find that this school still claims to follow a Christian theological viewpoint. Their own mission statement states that they’re trying to find God in all things.

I find the mission statement and the course offering to be utterly inconsistent. Is it a biblical perspective to pursue mind-altering drugs, whether to use or sell? Categorically, no. 1 Peter 5:8 explains that we are to remain “sober” and “vigilant.” This requires clear thinking and an unaltered mind.

Instead we must spend our energy in the pursuit of Christ for our strength and salvation. Philippians 4:13 teaches us that in Paul’s most difficult moments he turned to Christ for his strength. We must do the same. Psalm 62:1 explains that only through the Lord do we receive salvation. Only He provides the ultimate solution to our problems. — Article continues below Petition — PETITION: Stand with Hungary for protecting children from LGBT propaganda

The solution is not marijuana. The solution is Christ, and the leadership of Saint Joseph’s University should know this.

For a university that claims to be in search of God in all things this course is an utter shame. For an institution that wants to teach and help young adults grow, it’s unimaginable to think that they would focus their efforts on something so harmful as marijuana. Perhaps the reason comes from the fact that the world has accepted it. It’s been rebranded as cannabis — a miracle drug — perhaps a new snake oil for the 21st century. Or perhaps it’s simply moral relativism.

June 25, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — The former Papal Nuncio to the United States and Vatican whistleblower, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò released the following letter of support to faithful Catholic priests who have been persecuted without cause by their Bishops. The surprise communication was read during a fundraising event of over 1,000 people in Lombard, Illinois, on Thursday.

It is with extreme satisfaction that I have heard the news of the praiseworthy initiative in which you are involved, together with Reverend Father James Altman, in the defense of priests persecuted by their superiors due to their fidelity to the immutable Magisterium of the Church and the venerable Apostolic Liturgy.

JVM Show

I can only wholeheartedly encourage you and your collaborators for this project, which I hope finds generous support among many faithful laity and perhaps some good Brothers among the clergy. In this hour of grave deviations in the Hierarchy, the commitment of lay people is essential and very important: It concretizes the prophetic words of the Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen, who in speaking of the End Times recalled how the salvation of the Holy Church would be achieved — besides, of course, through the intercession of the Mater Ecclesiae before the Throne of Her Divine Son — by the courageous contribution of the laity.

During these times of apostasy, in which the de facto schism of the rebellious German pastors and many others in the world not only is not punished but even appears almost to be encouraged by the mercenaries who occupy the highest levels of the Church, it is a great consolation to witness this awakening of those who are good, who are ready to assist the material needs of persecuted priests and support them with prayer and tangible gestures of that Charity which always, in the course of history, has given unequivocal proof of the newness of the Gospel.

Let us not forget that, if there was once a time in which the Sacred Ministers were respected for their conduct of life and for the example which they offered to the world, Satan never gave up unleashing his hatred against those whom he fears the most among men, because it is thanks to priests that the Divine Sacrifice which decreed the defeat of the Enemy of the human race is renewed in an unbloody form on our altars.

Our Lord, the Eternal High Priest, calls his Sacred Ministers blessed when he says: “Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you, and utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven. Thus have they persecuted the prophets before you” (Mt 5:1-12). Persecution is thus a manifestation of the sacrificial nature of the Priesthood, following the example of Christ: He who offers the sacrifice must also be a victim at the same time, an oblation to the Divine Majesty. It is grievous that today we must number among the persecutors not only the enemies of God who are far from the Church but even those whom the Lord has placed as Shepherds to guard His Flock. We can tremble at the thought of the punishment that awaits them, which will be all the more severe in proportion to the level of responsibility of those who, placed in authority in the name of Christ, rage with cruelty on the innocent and show scandalous connivance with the guilty. SUBSCRIBE to LifeSite’s daily headlines U.S. Canada World Catholic

I permit myself to exhort all of you, dear lay faithful, not only to commit yourselves with renewed zeal in this true corporal and spiritual work of mercy towards good priests, but also to pray and offer penance and sacrifices for the conversion of the evil Shepherds and of those who, abusing their authority, persecute those who do good and preach the Catholic truth opportune importune [in season and out season — 2 Tm 4:2]. The return of so many who have strayed from the Flock of Christ, their change of heart, and the awareness of the betrayal committed against the Lord and His Holy Church will be the greatest victory that we can hope for, and which we confidently beg the Most Holy Virgin, Mother of Priests, to grant us.

I invoke the Lord’s greatest blessing upon all of you, and in a particular way upon our beloved priests who have been ostracized, derided, estranged from their communities, struck by illegitimate sanctions, and whose reputations have been injured. Know that you all have a special place in my prayers and in my priestly heart.

June 25, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – Pope Francis used his general audience this week to denigrate online preachers who are “rigid” and who seek “solutions to the crises of today” in the past, while again choosing to say nothing about the ongoing persecution of Christians and others by the Chinese communist government.

Drawing from St. Paul’s Letter to the Galatians, the Pope seemed to be accusing conservative and traditionalist Catholics of being in league with the Evil One and of being no different from those who sowed discord and mistrust by demanding that the new Christians in Galatia subject themselves to Mosaic Law.

“At General Audience Pope Francis berates ‘preachers, especially through the new means of communication’ who present themselves ‘as true guardians of the truth; strongly affirm that the true Christianity is the one they adhere to, often identified with certain forms of the past,’” noted a Tweet by Catholic Sat.  https://platform.twitter.com/embed/Tweet.html?dnt=false&embedId=twitter-widget-0&features=eyJ0ZndfZXhwZXJpbWVudHNfY29va2llX2V4cGlyYXRpb24iOnsiYnVja2V0IjoxMjA5NjAwLCJ2ZXJzaW9uIjpudWxsfSwidGZ3X2hvcml6b25fdHdlZXRfZW1iZWRfOTU1NSI6eyJidWNrZXQiOiJodGUiLCJ2ZXJzaW9uIjpudWxsfSwidGZ3X3R3ZWV0X2VtYmVkX2NsaWNrYWJpbGl0eV8xMjEwMiI6eyJidWNrZXQiOiJjb250cm9sIiwidmVyc2lvbiI6bnVsbH19&frame=false&hideCard=false&hideThread=false&id=1407633418201047040&lang=en&origin=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lifesitenews.com%2Fnews%2Fpope-denigrates-rigid-preachers-living-in-the-past-while-his-silence-on-persecuted-christians-is-deafening&sessionId=79e9a432b2512ac5d4d79b222921a93e6e9df6eb&siteScreenName=LifeSite&theme=light&widgetsVersion=82e1070%3A1619632193066&width=550px

“These opponents of Paul argued that even the Gentiles had to be circumcised and live according to the rules of the Mosaic Law,” said the Pope. “They went back to the previous observances, those that had been superseded by the Gospel. The Galatians, therefore, would have had to renounce their cultural identity in order to submit to the norms, prescriptions and customs typical of the Jews.

“It is precisely the way of the evil one, of these people who divide, who do not know how to build,” he said.

“Today too there is no shortage of preachers who, especially through the new means of communication, can disturb communities,” continued Pope Francis.  “They present themselves not primarily to announce the Gospel of God who loves man in Jesus, Crucified and Risen, but to insist, as true ‘keepers of the truth’ – so they call themselves – on the best way to be Christians.”

“They strongly affirm that the true Christianity is the one they adhere to, often identified with certain forms of the past, and that the solution to the crises of today is to go back so as not to lose the genuineness of the faith,” he said. “There is a temptation to close oneself up in some of the certainties acquired in past traditions.”

This new breed of online preachers “do not know what humility is, what fraternity is,” claimed the Pope. “The new preachers know neither meekness nor obedience.”

“Apparently the Vatican has received a new shipment of Straw Men recently,” quipped Crisis magazine Editor-in-Chief Eric Sammons, in response to the Pope’s remarks.  https://platform.twitter.com/embed/Tweet.html?dnt=false&embedId=twitter-widget-1&features=eyJ0ZndfZXhwZXJpbWVudHNfY29va2llX2V4cGlyYXRpb24iOnsiYnVja2V0IjoxMjA5NjAwLCJ2ZXJzaW9uIjpudWxsfSwidGZ3X2hvcml6b25fdHdlZXRfZW1iZWRfOTU1NSI6eyJidWNrZXQiOiJodGUiLCJ2ZXJzaW9uIjpudWxsfSwidGZ3X3R3ZWV0X2VtYmVkX2NsaWNrYWJpbGl0eV8xMjEwMiI6eyJidWNrZXQiOiJjb250cm9sIiwidmVyc2lvbiI6bnVsbH19&frame=false&hideCard=false&hideThread=false&id=1408088848857456641&lang=en&origin=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lifesitenews.com%2Fnews%2Fpope-denigrates-rigid-preachers-living-in-the-past-while-his-silence-on-persecuted-christians-is-deafening&sessionId=79e9a432b2512ac5d4d79b222921a93e6e9df6eb&siteScreenName=LifeSite&theme=light&widgetsVersion=82e1070%3A1619632193066&width=550px

Pope Francis remains silent on China’s arrests of Catholic bishops, priests, and seminarians

Pope Francis’ berating of conservative Catholics in the free world stands in stark contrast to his continued refusal to comment on the Chinese Communist Party’s recent arrests of a Vatican-appointed bishop, seven priests, and a number of seminarians.

“Police arrested 63-year-old Bishop Joseph Zhang Weizhu of Xinxiang Diocese in Henan province on May 21, a day after they detained the priests and seminarians for allegedly violating the country’s repressive new regulations on religious affairs,” reported ucanews.com, an outlet which covers Catholic Asian news.

“Francis has been such a scandal on the most important issues of our age,” declared Jason Jones, a Catholic film producer, author, activist, and human rights worker defending the world’s most vulnerable.

“He was silent on the genocide of the oldest Christian communities in the world in Iraq and Syria,” said Jones. “He was silent when, in the middle of the greatest genocide since the holocaust, three million ethnic Uighurs in concentration camps were being killed and having their organs harvested.”

“He was silent when a prominent Catholic layman, Jimmy Lai was arrested, and now that we have Bishop Zhang, his priests, and seminarians sent off to be reeducated, tortured, and God knows what, he’s silent,” he continued. “His silence is deafening, and it’s one of the greatest scandals in Church history.”  SUBSCRIBE to LifeSite’s daily headlines U.S. Canada World Catholic

Laymen must speak out against evil when the Pope does not

“But because the silence is deafening, and because the scandal —the stumbling block— is so great, it gives us an opportunity to amplify as Catholic laymen our voices for the vulnerable,” emphasized Jones. “We need to stand on the stumbling block and make it a stepping stone for the Uighur, for the Christians of China, for Jimmy Lai, for Bishop Zhang and his priests and seminarians.”
