Mgr Vincenzo Paglia

July 8, 2021 (Children’s Health Defense) – Hours after attending his college graduation, Isaiah Harris was rushed to the emergency room after complaining of being unable to breathe. Once at the hospital, Harris suffered a heart attack while waiting for treatment.

wcfm facebook.png

Harris was diagnosed with inflammation of the heart, or myocarditis. The condition was later attributed to Pfizer’s COVID vaccine — but doctors initially refused to believe his condition had anything to do with the vaccine, Harris told Children’s Health Defense Chairman Robert F. Kennedy Jr., on the “RFK Jr. The Defender Podcast.”

After being hospitalized for four days in Rogers, Arkansas, Harris was released and sent home with medication to numb his heart and reduce the swelling. But when he tried to phone the doctor to say he was still suffering from heart pain, the nurses stonewalled him, he said.

“One of the nurses who treated me picked up,” said Harris. “Some words were exchanged and she ended up hanging up on me and wouldn’t get me through to the doctor.”

About a month and a half later, Harris went to see Dr. Allen Kline at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, after being referred by a friend. Kline is aware of the link between mRNA COVID vaccines and myocarditis. He’s witnessed hundreds of cases, said Harris.

Harris told Kennedy he felt pressured to get the vaccine. He said he thought it was safe, that there weren’t any risks.

“I plan on going to medical school and thought it was a requirement,” said Harris. “There’s a lot of pressure to get it right now.” — Article continues below Petition — PETITION: Support Texas Dad risking everything to save his son from being « transitioned » into a girl

While Harris hasn’t fully recovered, he said he’s doing a lot better. However, he’s been advised to keep his activity levels low for the next six months, and can do little more than walk his dog.

GENOA, Italy, July 8, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — The surgeon who operated on a teenage girl who fell ill and died after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine was shocked by what he found.

Dr. Gianluigi Zona, director of the neurosurgery and brain trauma clinic of Genoa’s San Martino general hospital, said there was serious blood clotting in the brain of 18-year-old Camilla Canepa, who subsequently died of a cerebral hemorrhage.

wcdm twitter

“I had never seen a brain reduced in those conditions by a thrombosis so extensive and so serious,” the surgeon said.

Canepa had been transferred to the clinic at 5 a.m. June 6 after two CT scans at a hospital in Lavagna, near Genoa. According to the Italian Il Piccolo newspaper, the first scan, performed June 3 when the girl first went to a hospital complaining of severe headaches, did not show the blood clots. However, the second scan, performed shortly after the girl returned to the hospital late on the night of June 5, led to Camilla’s immediate transfer to San Martino. She was treated by the neurosurgeon on duty and the chief physician, who worked side by side at the operating table.

“All the venous sinuses were blocked by thrombus [blood clots], a scenario which I have never seen in all my years in this profession,” Zona said.

“You must picture the venous sinus as a river in the middle of a valley in which many different streams converge,” he continued.  SUBSCRIBE to LifeSite’s daily headlines U.S. Canada World Catholic

“If you build a dam at the center of the watercourse, the river swells and at that point the tributaries aren’t able to run, with the result that the upstream pressure rises.”

The neurosurgeon said that he was neither a virologist, epidemiologist nor coroner, but he knew something was very amiss.

“Considering what I saw in that girl’s head, it’s clear that we are facing something not normal.”

She had received the AstraZeneca vaccine on May 25 during a vaccination “open day” for young people over 18. According to a Reuters report, the “inoculation events » were “often held during evenings and weekends » and “were partly aimed at preventing AstraZeneca doses going to waste amid widespread reports of older people spurning the product and cancelling their vaccination appointments.”

Doctors have said that she suffered from a rare bleeding disorder called “familial autoimmune thrombocytopenia,” but her parents insist that she “had no disease.“

The girl had a Catholic funeral in her hometown of Sestri Levante in Liguria on June 16.  As a result of Camilla’s death, Italy has banned the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine for people under age 60.

July 8, 2021 (American Institute for Economic Research) – When the history of climate modeling comes to be written in some distant future, the major story may well be how the easy, computable answer turned out to be the wrong one, resulting in overestimated warming and false scares from the enhanced (man-made) greenhouse effect.

Meanwhile, empirical and theoretical evidence is mounting toward this game-changing verdict despite the best efforts of the establishment to look the other way.

wcdm twitter

Consider a press release this month from the University of Colorado Boulder, “Warmer Clouds, Cooler Planet,” subtitled “precipitation-related ‘feedback’ cycle means models may overestimate warming.”

“Today’s climate models are showing more warmth than their predecessors,” the announcement begins.

But a paper published this week highlights how models may err on the side of too much warming: Earth’s warming clouds cool the surface more than anticipated, the German-led team reported in Nature Climate Change.

“Our work shows that the increase in climate sensitivity from the last generation of climate models should be taken with a huge grain of salt,” said CIRES Fellow Jennifer Kay, an associate professor of atmospheric and oceanic sciences at CU Boulder and co-author on the paper.

The press release goes on to state how incorporating this negative feedback will improve next-generation climate models, something that is of the utmost importance given the upcoming Sixth Assessment of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). But will conflicted modelers and the politicized IPCC be upfront with the elephant in the room?

Background

SUBSCRIBE to LifeSite’s daily headlines U.S. Canada World Catholic

Strong positive feedbacks from the release of carbon dioxide (CO2) and other manmade greenhouse gases (GHG) are what turn a modest and even positive warming into the opposite. The assumption has been that increased evaporation in a warmer world (from oceans, primarily) causes a strongly positive feedback, doubling or even tripling the primary warming.

In technical terms, water molecules trap heat, and clouds or vapor in the upper tropical troposphere – where the air is extremely dry – trap substantially more heat, thickening the greenhouse. How water inhabits this upper layer (≈30,000–50,000 feet) to either block (magnify) or release (diminish) the heat is in debate, leaving the sign of the externality unknown for climate economics. And it is the upper troposphere where climate models are data-confounding.

Assuming fixed relative atmospheric humidity allows modelers to invoke ceteris paribus against altered physical processes that might well negate the secondary warming. This controversial assumption opens the door for hyper-modeling that is at odds with reality. (For economists, the analogy would be assuming “perfect competition” to unleash hyper theorizing.)

For decades, model critics have questioned the simplified treatment of complexity. Meanwhile, climate models have predicted much more warming than has transpired.

Theoreticians have long been at odds with model technicians. MIT’s Richard Lindzen, author of Dynamics in Atmospheric Physics, has advanced different hypotheses about why water-vapor feedback is much less than modeled. Judith Curry, whose blog Climate Etc. is a leading source to follow physical-science and related developments, is another critic of high-sensitivity models.

“There’s a range of credible perspectives that I try to consider,” she states. “It’s a very complex problem, and we don’t have the answers yet.”

And now we have way too much confidence in some very dubious climate models and inadequate data sets. And we’re not really framing the problem broadly enough to … make credible projections about the range of things that we could possibly see in the 21st century.

Mainstream recognition

Climate scientists know that climate models are extremely complicated and fragile. In What We Know About Climate Change (2018, p. 30), Kerry Emanuel of MIT explains:

Computer modeling of global climate is perhaps the most complex endeavor ever undertaken by humankind. A typical climate model consists of millions of lines of computer instructions designed to simulate an enormous range of physical phenomena….

Although the equations representing the physical and chemical processes in the climate system are well known, they cannot be solved exactly. …. The problem here is that many important processes happen at much smaller scales.

The parameterization problem is akin to the fallacies of macroeconomics, where the crucial causality of individual action is ignored. Microphysics is the driver of climate change, yet the equations are unsettled and sub-grid scale. Like macroeconomics, macro-climatology should have been highly qualified and demoted long ago. — Article continues below Petition — PETITION: Support 2-year-old’s right to remain on life support in UK

My mentor Gerald North, former head of the climatology department at Texas A&M, had a number of observations about the crude, overrated nature of climate models back in 1998–99 that are still relevant today.

We do not know much about modeling climate. It is as though we are modeling a human being. Models are in position at last to tell us the creature has two arms and two legs, but we are being asked to cure cancer.

There is a good reason for a lack of consensus on the science. It is simply too early. The problem is difficult, and there are pitifully few ways to test climate models.

One has to fill in what goes on between 5 km and the surface. The standard way is through atmospheric models. I cannot make a better excuse.

wcea facebook

The different models couple to the oceans differently. There is quite a bit of slack here (undetermined fudge factors). If a model is too sensitive, one can just couple in a little more ocean to make it agree with the record. This is why models with different sensitivities all seem to mock the record about equally well. (Modelers would be insulted by my explanation, but I think it is correct.)

[Model results] could also be sociological: getting the socially acceptable answer.

The IPCC 5th assessment (2013), the “official” or mainstream report, recognizes fundamental uncertainty while accepting model methodology and results at face value. “The complexity of models,” it is stated (p. 824), “has increased substantially since the IPCC First Assessment Report in 1990….”

However, every bit of added complexity, while intended to improve some aspect of simulated climate, also introduces new sources of possible error (e.g., via uncertain parameters) and new interactions between model components that may, if only temporarily, degrade a model’s simulation of other aspects of the climate system. Furthermore, despite the progress that has been made, scientific uncertainty regarding the details of many processes remains.

The humbling nature of climate modeling was publicized by The Economist in 2019. “Predicting the Climate Future is Riddled with Uncertainty” explained:

[Climate modeling] is a complicated process. A model’s code has to represent everything from the laws of thermodynamics to the intricacies of how air molecules interact with one another. Running it means performing quadrillions of mathematical operations a second—hence the need for supercomputers.

[S]uch models are crude. Millions of grid cells might sound a lot, but it means that an individual cell’s area, seen from above, is about 10,000 square kilometres, while an air or ocean cell may have a volume of as much as 100,000km3. Treating these enormous areas and volumes as points misses much detail.

Clouds, for instance, present a particular challenge to modellers. Depending on how they form and where, they can either warm or cool the climate. But a cloud is far smaller than even the smallest grid-cells, so its individual effect cannot be captured. The same is true of regional effects caused by things like topographic features or islands.

Building models is also made hard by lack of knowledge about the ways that carbon — the central atom in molecules of carbon dioxide and methane, the main heat-capturing greenhouse gases other than water vapour — moves through the environment.

“But researchers are doing the best they can,” The Economist concluded.

Climate models, in fact, are significantly overestimating warming, even by one-half. And the gap is widening as a coolish 2021 is well underway. And as for the future, anthropogenic warming is constrained by the logarithmic rather than linear effect of GHG forcing. The saturation effect means that as the atmosphere contains more CO2, the warming increase becomes less and less. The warming from a doubling of CO2, in other words, does not reoccur at a tripling but a quadrupling.

The mitigation window is rapidly closing, in other words, explaining the shrill language from prominent politicians. But it is the underlying climate models, not the climate itself, that is running out of time.

‘Unsettled’ goes mainstream

The crude methodology and false conclusions of climate modeling is emerging from the shadows. Physicist and computer expert Steven Koonin, in his influential Unsettled: What Climate Science Tells Us, What it Doesn’t, and Why It Matters (chapter 4) explains:

Climate modeling is central to climate science…. Yet many important phenomena occur on scales smaller than the 100 km (60 mile) grid size (such as mountains, clouds, and thunderstorms), and so researchers must make “subgrid” assumptions to build a complete model….

Since the results generally don’t much look like the climate system we observe, modelers then adjust (“tune”) these parameters to get a better match with some features of the real climate system.

Undertuning leaves the model unrealistic, but overtuning “risks cooking the books — that is, predetermining the answer,” adds Koonin. He then quotes from a paper co-authored by 15 world-class modelers:

… tuning is often seen as an unavoidable but dirty part of climate modeling, more engineering than science, an act of tinkering that does not merit recording in the scientific literature…. Tuning may be seen indeed as an unspeakable way to compensate for model errors.

Conclusion

Climate modeling has arguably been worse than nothing because false information has been presented as true and “consensus.” Alarmism and disruptive policy activism (forced substitution of inferior energies; challenges to lifestyle norms) have taken on a life of their own. Fire, ready, aim has substituted for prudence, from science to public policy.

Data continue to confound naïve climate models. Very difficult theory is slowly but surely explaining why. The climate debate is back to the physical science, where it never should have left.

ROME, July 8, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — An eminent African cardinal has strongly emphasized the identity of the Catholic priest as the caretaker of souls.

“Today we speak little about the Gospel and we don’t speak about souls anymore,” Cardinal Robert Sarah, the former Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship, said in a recent interview.

wcea facebook

“Pastoral care today is concerned principally with the body, life, material things,” he added.

“Thus, when Jesus says, ‘What does it profit a man that he should gain the whole world but lose his soul’, all the modern translations say ‘but lose his own life’ (Matt 16:26).”

The cardinal pointed out that the Latin words of the pious centurion “and my soul shall be healed,” repeated by Catholics before Holy Communion, have been rendered “and I will be saved” in Italian.   SUBSCRIBE to LifeSite’s daily headlines U.S. Canada World Catholic

“The priest has the care of souls,” Sarah stated firmly.

“If he does not care about souls, he becomes useless. This means, for a priest, to take care of others, to be a ‘curate’ [curato, curé], like St. John Vianney.”

Sarah granted a half-hour interview to journalist Lorenzo Bertocchi that appeared in this month’s issue of the Italian Catholic Il Timone (“The Helm”) magazine, answering questions about the crisis in the contemporary priesthood, priestly celibacy, and priestly identity, among other subjects.

Regarding the crisis, the cardinal stated that everything “bearing in itself the clear signs of stability, immutability, and eternity” in our society — including both the priesthood and marriage — is in crisis. Sarah explained that because the “man of today” lives on sensations, emotional impulses and material things, he thinks a life dedicated to spiritual and supernatural values seems “impossible or absurd.”

“The priestly life falls victim to this crisis of modernity,” Sarah said.

“The priestly vocation is always born in the context of the faith in the man’s life and community, be it the family or the parish,” he continued.

“Without faith in God, he would not understand the reason to give his whole life for Christ, for the Church, and for souls, always. For many men today, the priesthood is … a useless life except and only when it concerns itself with the material needs of others.”

But, as Sarah points out, it is not necessary to be a priest to sustain people materially. Priests are called to take up the mission Jesus left to the 11 faithful apostles.

“In the moment we chose to follow the priestly calling, we chose to represent Christ in the world, on this earth, to reflect the Sun that is Christ,” the cardinal said.  — Article continues below Petition — PETITION: Urge U.S. Bishops to publicly excommunicate Joe Biden (and other pro-abortion politicians)

“We have chosen to receive and carry forward the mission that Jesus has left and entrusted to his apostles before returning to the Father.”

The apparent “uselessness” of the priestly vocation is the hallmark that gives meaning to the priestly life, Sarah said, and he decried contemporary “non-Catholic” trends in Catholic theology that have contributed to the crisis in the priesthood.

“A certain liberal, anthropomorphic theology has impoverished the nature and identity of the Catholic priesthood, giving it a functionalist and horizontal dimension,” the cardinal said.

“This theology, which was victorious in the Church and which many [Council] Fathers supported before, during and after the work in the [Second Vatican] Council chamber, represents neither the mind of the Church nor most of the Fathers who took part in the last Council.”

wcea twitter.png

Sarah explained that this “non-Catholic” thinking, as he said Pope Paul VI had defined it, had entered Catholic theology departments, seminaries, and parishes and “contaminated the doctrine of the priesthood and the way of life of so many priests.”

Priestly celibacy ‘is more useful than ever’

Regarding calls to drop mandatory celibacy, Sarah said the “old” argument that celibacy has caused a priest shortage is dealing in “a pretext or an excuse.” Citing the book on priestly celibacy he recently wrote with Pope Benedict XVI, the cardinal praised the state as a “gift” and “a sign of conformation to Christ.”

“Priestly celibacy in the Church is one of the most eloquent signs of the supernatural and transcendent dimension of the priesthood intended by Jesus,” he said.

“It’s a gift that the Catholic Church has guarded from the very beginning, from apostolic ties, keeping it as a sign of conformation to Christ.”

Celibacy also helps the priest resemble Christ, particularly in his dedication to souls.

“The priest must resemble Christ, spouse of the Church,” Sarah said.

“He has no other loves than the Church and the souls for which he gives his life, like Jesus,” he added.

“This sign/scandal for the world today is more useful than ever.”

In a society where the mass media spreads a “pansexualist and eroticist culture,” young people need celibate priests as models of generous, selfless love and, Sarah said, “to discover the beauty of a love given to everyone without being exclusively for someone, like the love of our Lord Jesus for us.”

The cardinal recognizes that living this way takes training in spiritual asceticism “because there’s no shortage of opportunities for temptation.” He noted that there are many dangers in the priestly life today, particularly for young priests, thanks to a youth spent with bad companions and/or in front of television and computer, without proper models of life. Not knowing to structure their day is a problem for priests, as is spending too much time on the internet.

“It is true that a solid doctrinal preparation is not enough to avoid sin, but a good preparation, good reading, and a good spiritual director are the solid basis for [the priest’s] own spiritual life,” Sarah said, and emphasized that the priest should not leave his continuing spiritual formation “to chance” but to tend to his own soul before taking care of other people. At the same time, however, the priest must have a “zeal” for other souls.

“In light of what has been said, there follows the importance of the care of souls, the zeal for souls, ‘animarum zelus,’ which is the interest a shepherd must have in the eternal salvation of the little sheep in his care,” Sarah said and quoted extensively from a Holy Thursday 2012 homily by Pope Benedict XVI:

… As priests … we are concerned for the whole person, including his or her physical needs … And yet we are concerned not only with the body, but also with the needs of the soul: with those who suffer from the violation of their rights or from destroyed love, with those unable to perceive the truth, those who suffer for lack of truth and love. We are concerned with the salvation of men and women in body and soul. And as priests of Jesus Christ we carry out our task with enthusiasm. No one should ever have the impression that we work conscientiously when on duty, but before and after hours we belong only to ourselves. A priest never belongs to himself. People must sense our zeal, through which we bear credible witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Cardinal Sarah is known and loved throughout the Catholic Church for his adherence to perennial doctrine and his spiritual writings, including God or Nothing (2015), The Power of Silence (2016), The Day Is Now Far Spent (2019), and his work with Benedict XVI celebrating celibacy, From the Depths of Our Hearts (2020).

Sarah was born in Guinea in 1945 and ordained a priest in 1969. Pope John Paul II appointed him Archbishop of Conakry 10 years later, when Sarah was 34. He was appointed secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples in 2001. Nine years later, Benedict XVI appointed Sarah president of the Pontifical Council “Cor Unum.” He was made a Cardinal in 2010. Pope Francis appointed Sarah the Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments in 2014 and accepted his resignation in 2021, about six months after the cardinal turned 75.

LOMBARD, Illinois, July 8, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – A new lay-led organization, the Coalition for Canceled Priests, has been formed to support “canceled” priests who boldly proclaim the Catholic faith, and in an attempt to resist the “abuse of power by errant bishops and provide much needed financial support to innocent, faithful priestly servants of Holy Mother Church.”

The Coalition for Canceled Priests (CFCP) has come about in response to “one too many instances of persecution or betrayal.” Composed of both laity and clerical members, the CFCP has at its core the traditional teachings of the Catholic faith.

“We believe in the Catholic Church’s traditional teachings on faith and morals and acknowledge that the Catholic Church has, since its founding by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, had a universal mission to bring each individual to sanctity and ultimate salvation,” reads the site.

As part of that “universal mission,” the CFCP notes that all Catholic priests have the “responsibility to preach and practice traditional Catholic morality.”

However, the CFCP writes that this mission has not been followed, referencing an “aberrant, non-Catholic element” that has crept into the “priesthood and hierarchy.” As an example of this, the CFCP pointed to the over 60 U.S. bishops who expressed their opposition to the formation of a Eucharistic document that would deal with banning pro-abortion politicians from receiving Holy Communion.  SUBSCRIBE to LifeSite’s daily headlines U.S. Canada World Catholic

Despite this, there are still faithful members of the clergy who proclaim the Catholic faith, and it is these who the CFCP wishes to support, noting that such priests and bishops are “persecuted or insufficiently defended.”

A mission of ‘action’

In order to support these faithful priests, the CFCP is seeking to highlight the scale of the problem and alert the wider Church to the fact that faithful priests are being “canceled and warehoused by bishops who are preaching heresy.”

While initially creating a “platform” for the persecuted priests to “share their story,” the CFCP is also looking to temporarily alter the manner in which priests and dioceses are funded, by “creating an ‘Adopt a Canceled Priest’ mind-set.”

“This mission needs to replace the mind-set of Tithing to a Church that allowed for ‘Catholics for Biden’ to exist. We the (Laity) will ‘temporarily’ be acting as the ‘gate keepers’ until justice is served,” states the CFCP.

The organization’s mission includes prayer and fasting as a bedrock for its endeavors. Building on this will be fundraising conferences, opportunities for the “canceled” priests to offer the sacraments, and social media promotion to create awareness of the issue.

Donations are called for to support “every priest abused by the tyrants,” said Father James Altman, who has himself been asked to resign from his parish in the Diocese of La Crosse after he criticized the U.S. bishops closure of churches during COVID-19, and regularly proclaimed traditional Catholic moral teaching from the pulpit.

Fr. Altman pledged to match the first $100,000 donated to the CFCP, availing of the “generosity” of the laity who have raised money for his own canonical battle. “That is how important it is to defend the holy priests,” he declared.

Indeed, following its launch event, the “Breaking the Silence” discussion that was attended by around 1,000 people, the CFCP has already been able to donate $20,000 to one such “canceled” priest, Father James Parker of the Diocese of Rockford. The Coalition described Fr. Parker as “the most recent example of Rockford Bishop David J. Malloy’s unrelenting crusade to cancel faithful priests who are steadfast in their loyalty to Church teaching.”

Archbishop Viganò: ‘ the commitment of lay people is essential and very important’

In its mission to support priests who have faced persecution for speaking the Catholic faith, the CFCP has garnered the support of former Papal Nuncio to the U.S., Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, who wrote a letter of strong support to the group that was read at the launch event.

Archbishop Viganò wrote that in the face of “grave deviations in the Hierarchy, the commitment of lay people is essential and very important.”

During these times of apostasy, in which the de facto schism of the rebellious German pastors and many others in the world not only is not punished but even appears almost to be encouraged by the mercenaries who occupy the highest levels of the Church, it is a great consolation to witness this awakening of those who are good, who are ready to assist the material needs of persecuted priests and support them with prayer and tangible gestures of that Charity which always, in the course of history, has given unequivocal proof of the newness of the Gospel.

Encouraging the laity in the “corporal and spiritual work of mercy,” Archbishop Viganò also urged them to “pray and offer penance and sacrifices for the conversion of the evil Shepherds,” as well as for those who abuse their authority and “persecute those who do good and preach the Catholic truth.” — Article continues below Petition — PETITION: Urge U.S. Bishops to publicly excommunicate Joe Biden (and other pro-abortion politicians)

‘The laity is done’

Speaking at the CFCP’s launch event on June 24, Yvonne Seeman, a member of the CFCP’s committee, warned that the Coalition is “a movement that is just beginning.”

“The laity is done, and a message is being sent,” she stated. “We have entered into a season of time where we can see that the earth is trembling and judgment is coming. We are sending a loud message to all Catholic bishops, starting with Cardinal [Blase] Cupich.”

“Cardinal Cupich, we will never forget that you were the first one, on the holiest week of the year a year ago, you allowed for our beautiful Catholic Church to become non-essential,” said Seeman.

Speaking on Steve Bannon’s War Room show, the child advocate attorney and host of the “Breaking the Silence” event, Elizabeth Yore, echoed Seeman’s words. Yore described the formation of the CFCP as a “watershed moment in the Catholic Church.”

“This is where the laity have just drawn the line. ‘You’re not going to take away our good, holy priests,’” she stated.

July 8, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — In a candid interview with German international trial attorney, Reiner Fuellmich, eminent physician Dr. Peter McCullough reflected upon what he called “propagandized bioterrorism by injection,” expressing concern that the current experimental COVID-19 vaccines may sterilize the young, foster cancer, and could have likely caused 50,000 to (currently) 70,000 deaths already in the United States.

During the explosive June 11 interview, McCullough, an internist and cardiologist, along with being a professor of medicine and editor of two major medical journals, began his comments asserting, “I believe that we’re under the application of a form of bioterrorism that’s worldwide, [and] that appears to have been many years in the planning.”

He believes this bioterrorism has come in two stages, including the “Phase I” which consisted of a “respiratory virus that spread across the world and effected relatively few people, about one percent of many populations, but generated great fear.”

This fear enabled multiple levels of government mitigation policies including shutdowns, mask mandates, and mass testing. “Every single thing that was done in the public health response to the pandemic made it worse,” he said. SUBSCRIBE to LifeSite’s daily headlines U.S. Canada World Catholic

In response, McCullough and a group of colleagues began to seek, discover, and publish treatments for the virus in the medical journals he edited, and began to “meet resistance at all levels” though their findings demonstrated “about an 85% reduction in hospitalizations and death.”

Despite his eminent qualifications, YouTube pulled down a presentation he gave on their platform, while other outlets actively suppressed virtually all information regarding the early treatment of patients.

“So, what we had discovered was that the suppression of early treatment was tightly linked to the development of a vaccine,” McCullough explained. “And the entire program [of] bioterrorism Phase I … was really all about keeping the population in fear and in isolation, and preparing them to accept the vaccine which appears to be Phase II of a bioterrorism operation.”

While he emphasizes, “we know this is Phase II of [a] bioterrorism [operation],” though “we don’t know who is behind it,” it is clear that “they want a needle in every arm to inject messenger RNA or adenoviral DNA into every human being.”

In order to combat this agenda, McCullough said, “Our goal is to get a large group [of people] …  that they cannot vaccinate.”  Such groups should include the high percentages of individuals who have already recovered from COVID-19 (at least 80% in Texas for example) and thus enjoy natural immunity, or are merely “suspected COVID-recovered.” Others would include children for whom COVID-19 is an irrelevant risk, though the experimental vaccine remains a significant threat, along with pregnant women, and more.

“We want a big block [of people],” he explained. “If we can break the ‘needle in every arm’ [agenda], then I think [its real purpose] will be exposed.”

With regards to ending experimental COVID-19 vaccination campaigns against children, he explained, “today we have 800 cases of young people developing myocarditis, or inflammation of the heart. And because I’m a cardiologist, I have a clinical authority position here, and I’m going to opine that because there’s no clinical benefit in young people whatsoever, to get the vaccine, that even one case is too many.”

CDC guilty of ‘malfeasance’

And because the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other agencies have not exercised their due diligence to reduce the risks of these injections, McCullough charges them with malfeasance.

“With this program there is no critical event committee, there is no data safety monitoring board, and there is no human ethics committee. Those structures are mandatory for all large clinical investigations,” he said. “And so, the word that’s really used for what is going on is ‘malfeasance;’ that’s wrongdoing by those in a position of authority. And without any safety measures in place, you can see what’s going on.”

This is “the largest application of a biological product with the greatest amount of morbidity and mortality in the history of our country,” he said. And on June 11, the Texas A&M medical professor explained, that the current number of reported deaths in the U.S. was “over 5,000” with “15,000 hospitalizations.”

However, he emphasized that with the help of institutional whistleblowers, and working with data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), they believe the death rate is 10 times higher than standard reports.

Whistleblowers reveal 50K actual deaths, ‘propagandized bioterrorism by injection’

“We have a pretty good lead that the real number is 10 fold [higher],” McCullough said. “We knew from data from Harvard in 2016 that the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) only reports about 10 percent of what’s really going on. So, we had to get another data source. And, we have inside people. We have now a whistleblower inside the CMS, and we have two whistleblowers within the CDC. And those are being developed right now in order to get this out. So, we’re looking at 10x. We think we have 50,000 dead Americans. 50,000. So, we actually have more deaths due to the vaccine per day, than certainly the viral illness, by far. It’s basically, in a sense, it’s propagandized bioterrorism by injection.” — Article continues below Petition — PETITION: Say ‘No’ to COVID ‘Vaccine Passports’!

The most recent data from the CDC’s VAERS system released last Friday reveals reports of 411,931 total adverse events in the United States following injections of experimental COVID-19 gene therapy vaccines, including 6,985 deaths and 34,065 serious injuries, between Dec. 14, 2020, and June 25, 2021.

If McCullough is right, and the real number of deaths is 10x higher than the report above, this would mean actual deaths in the U.S. would now be approaching 70,000.

The whole ‘vaccine’ enterprise is ‘contrived,’ may cause cancer, infertility

wcfm facebook.png

The Texas physician went on to discuss how data from the Cleveland Clinic along with other studies reveal that thirty to fifty percent “of people who are already immune, naturally immune,” are still getting the vaccine. Since there is no medical, clinical or safety reason for such people to be injected with these biological agents, it reveals that “the vaccine is contrived. This whole thing is contrived. It should be very obvious. Now the CDC has changed the cycle threshold down to lower, so they’re going to make fewer cases, so it’s going to look [as if the vaccine reduced cases and deaths].”

In observing other data, McCullough also fears the possibility that these novel experimental gene-therapy injections could foster cancer and lead to infertility in the young. “I am very afraid based on what we have learned, just by the first injections, that they interact with p53 and BRCA [Breast Cancer gene], that they could ultimately lead to cancers. They could lead to cancers. “

In addition, he explained, “the Japanese have already shown us that lipid particles concentrate in the ovaries. Could they be sterilizing? If you said this is all a Gates Foundation program to reduce the population, it’s fitting pretty well with that hypothesis,” he said.

“The first wave was to kill the old people by the respiratory infection. The second wave is to take the survivors and target the young people and sterilize them. If you notice, the messaging in the country, in the United States, is, they’re not even interested in the old people now. They want the kids…. Such a focus on the kids,” McCullough emphasized.

Universities guilty of harassment or intimidation

He also explains why only early treatments can reduce hospitalizations and deaths, while it remains “mathematically impossible” for vaccination campaigns to do the same.

Further, the many universities who are mandating experimental COVID-19 vaccination for their students are attempting to do so apart from a written policy, which is needed for accreditation agencies. “There have been no signed policies because they know they can’t write a policy mandating an investigational vaccine. You can’t have a policy forcing people into research,” McCullough explained. “So, if an institution, a hospital or university demands the vaccine without a policy, by definition, that’s harassment, or intimidation.”

The medical professor is the lead expert in a bellwether case being litigated against Houston Methodist Hospital due to their seeking to mandate the reception of experimental COVID-19 vaccines by all existing employees and new hires, as a condition of employment.

Many victories of his team’s efforts

Throughout the interview, the cardiologist also highlighted many victories won by himself and his colleagues, including their working with the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, in creating a home patient guide and in organizing the U.S. into four different telemedical services.

“So, without the government really understanding what was going on, we crushed the epidemic curve in the United States towards the end of December and January. We basically took care of the pandemic with about 50 doctors and telemedicine services,” he explained. “And, to this day, we treat about 25% of the U.S. COVID-19 population that actually are at high risk, over age 50 with medical problems or present with severe symptoms.”

Their experimental COVID-19 vaccine awareness campaigns helped bring about the continual drop of vaccination rates since April 8, with the government promoters “becoming desperate to try and convince individuals to get a vaccine.”

“I’m in Texas where we never underwent lockdown. I was a strong proponent of us staying open. We had 35 treating doctors who were willing to go against their medical centers and treat patients. We were able to convince our governor to [issue] an executive order recognizing natural immunity, banning any mandatory vaccines by public agencies, banning vaccine passports, [and] banning any discrimination on passports,” he explained.

And with Sens. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Rand Paul (R-KY) as allies in Washington, along with media outlets Fox News, Real News and OAN, their loosely formed C-19 group “are now on national TV almost every night in the United States to provide a counter-viewpoint to Anthony Fauci and (Rochelle) Walensky at the CDC and NIH.”

July 8, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – In a new exclusive written interview with LifeSiteNews, former U.S. nuncio Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò condemns Pope Francis’s recent endorsement of homosexuality-promoting priest Father James Martin.

“It is a suicidal gesture in which the leaders of the Church surrender unconditionally to the antichristic ideology of globalism and hand over the entire flock of Christ as a hostage to the Enemy, abdicating their role as Pastors and showing themselves for who they really are: mercenaries and traitors,” he said.

It is, said Archbishop Viganò, “outrageous towards God, scandalous for the honor of the Church, a matter of grave scandal for the faithful and a desolating abandonment for priests and confessors that a voice can be given to a Jesuit [Fr. James Martin] who bases his personal success not on proper pastoral action seeking the conversion of individual homosexuals with respect to Morality, but on the illusory promise of some change in Catholic doctrine that would legitimize people’s sinful behavior.”

wcdm twitter

The former Vatican representative to the U.S., who is known internationally for his exposing of the cover up of the abuses of now-ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, shows himself in the interview (full text below) to be an outstanding teacher of the faith able to reach the simple and the erudite simultaneously with a truth which, while stark, is imbued with charity.

Explaining the teaching of the Church on the touchy subject of homosexuality, Archbishop Viganò said, “The Church, faithful to the teaching of her Head, is Mother and not stepmother: she does not indulge her children’s weaknesses and inclination to sin, but she admonishes them, exhorts them, and punishes them with medicinal sanctions in order to lead every soul to the purpose for which it has been created, that is, eternal beatitude.” SUBSCRIBE to LifeSite’s daily headlines U.S. Canada World Catholic

“It is necessary to show, with patient but firm spiritual direction,” he said, “that every human being has a supernatural destiny and a path of suffering and sacrifices that temper him and make him worthy of his eternal reward. There is no Resurrection without Calvary, no victory without a fight!”

“This is true,” he added, “for every soul redeemed by Our Lord: both the married person and the celibate, the priest and the layperson, the man and the woman, the child and the elder.”

“The battle against one’s own nature corrupted by Original Sin unites us all: the one who manages money must fight against the temptation to steal, the one who is married must fight against the temptation to betray his or her spouse, the one who lives in chastity must fight against temptations against purity, the one who eats nice food must fight against the temptation to gluttony, and the one who is exposed to public applause must fight against the temptation to pride.”

“Thus, with humility and trust in the Grace of God, and having recourse to the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin, every person whom the Lord puts to the test – even in the painful situation of homosexuality – must understand that it is in the battle against sin that one conquers one’s place in eternity.”

And while his words for those struggling with tendencies to sin were clear, firm, and loving, his commentary on the shepherds who would mislead the sheep was severe.

Viganò praised pastors who in charity use discipline to call wayward Catholics back to the truth by refusing them Holy Communion: “Pastors who are faithful to the mandate conferred on them by Our Lord not only recognize their situation of public sin but also do not wish to aggravate it with the profanation of the Blessed Sacrament,” he said.

However, he said, those prelates who advocate the opposite, “like Cupich, Tobin, Gregory, and their followers” are “even more rebellious” than the pro-abortion politicians that they grant Holy Communion and are themselves “unworthy of celebrating the Sacred Mysteries.”

Ps 30:25

LifeSiteNews: What do you think of Pope Francis’s support for Father James Martin?

Archbishop Viganò: The LGBTQ+ ideology and the gender theory that it presupposes as its postulate represent a mortal threat for our entire society, the family, the human person, and also obviously for the Church, because they dissolve the social body, relations between its members, and the very concept of the biological reality of the sexes, which is arbitrarily changed to each person’s questionable and variable subjective self-perception based on gender. Many do not realize the chaos this will cause not only in civil and family habits but in religious ones as well, as soon as recognition of the LGBTQ+ movement inevitably leads to people with what may be defined as gender dysphoria demanding to be welcomed in parishes and communities. An emblematic example could be the case of a man ordained as a priest who at a certain point believes that he identifies as a woman: should we prepare for the eventuality of seeing Mass celebrated by a trans-sexual or a transvestite? And how can we reconcile the persistent existence of the male chromosome – which indefectibly defines the matter of the Sacrament of Holy Orders – with the appearances of a woman? What should we think about the case of a nun who, developing a male self-perception, demands to be transferred to a religious community of men and perhaps even to receive Holy Orders? This delusion, whose consequences are absurd and disturbing in the civil sphere, if applied to the religious sphere, would inflict a mortal blow on the already tortured ecclesial body.

We must consider the reasons that have led a personality like James Martin, S.J., to enjoy such notoriety and visibility in the ecclesial sphere and even in the Roman institutions, receiving an appointment as a Consultor of the Dicastery for Communications and recently being the recipient of a hand-written letter from Bergoglio. His ostentatious commitment in support of the pan-sexualist movement effectively offers considered and acritical support for an unlimited series of sexual variations and perversions. Such a priori adhesion is not the deplorable excess of a single Jesuit but represents the planned action of an ideological vanguard that has already proven to be uncontrollable and capable of orienting the very “Magisterium” of Bergoglio and his court.

The LGBTQ+ ideology constitutes the new moral paradigm of the globalist religion of the indistinct, which is of a clear Gnostic and Luciferian matrix.  The absence of supernaturally revealed dogmas serves as the premise of a post-human superdogma, in which Faith is perverted into an unconditional acceptance of every sort of heresy and depravity, Hope dissolves into the absurd claim of an already-guaranteed salvation hic et nunc, and Charity is corrupted into a horizontal solidarity deprived of its ultimate reference in God. The activism of the Jesuit Martin foreshadows the rainbow ministry of the Age of Aquarius, the religion of the Antichrist, and the worship of idols and demons, beginning with the filthy Pachamama.

For this reason, the indecent and scandalous Bergoglian endorsement of the aberrant provocations of James Martin is only one more step down a path that started with his famous “Who am I to judge?” in perfect coherence with the line of “rupture” of this “pontificate.” It is a suicidal gesture in which the leaders of the Church surrender unconditionally to the antichristic ideology of globalism and hand over the entire flock of Christ as a hostage to the Enemy, abdicating their role as Pastors and showing themselves for who they really are: mercenaries and traitors. Scandalized, we are witnessing the transition from “argue, obsecra, increpa, insta opportune importune” – “reprove, entreat, rebuke, be instant in season and out of season” (2 Tim 4:2) – to “loquimini nobis placentia” – “speak unto us pleasant things” (Is 30:10).

wcea twitter.png

It is therefore unsurprising that James Martin enjoys such appreciation in the highest spheres of the Vatican, which according to the methodology in force since Vatican II leaves a free hand to the most agitated exponents of progressive currents and then adopts the Hegelian dialectic between the thesis of natural and Catholic morality, the antithesis of doctrinal deviations, and the synthesis of a new magisterium in step with the times.

This way of proceeding, which may seem to some to be a prudent updating to the secularized mentality of our time, nevertheless reveals an abysmal betrayal of the teaching of Christ and the law impressed in man by his Creator. A greater license in vice – largely desired and promoted by today’s dominant anti-Christian ideology – does not legitimize in any way this denial on the part of the Hierarchy of the command it has received from Our Lord, nor can it authorize operations of adulteration that aim solely at indulging the worldly spirit and the corruption of morals. On the contrary, the more the mainstream pushes for a cancellation of the immutable principles of Catholic morality, the more pastors have the duty to raise their voice to reaffirm without hesitation what God has commanded them to preach.

I therefore find it outrageous towards God, scandalous for the honor of the Church, a matter of grave scandal for the faithful and a desolating abandonment for priests and confessors that a voice can be given to a Jesuit who bases his personal success not on proper pastoral action seeking the conversion of individual homosexuals with respect to Morality, but on the illusory promise of some change in Catholic doctrine that would legitimize people’s sinful behavior and grants the dignity of interlocutor to the so-called LGBTQ+ movements. The mere use of this acronym, which supports people by identifying them mechanically in their specific sexual perversion against nature, demonstrates a prostration of James Martin and his collaborators to the demands of the pan-sexual lobby, which the Church cannot accept or legitimize in the least.

In any case, if a large part of the Clergy is so impatient to see the demands of LGBTQ+ ideology endorsed by the Hierarchy, this is clearly due to an execrable conflict of interest and a very deep moral and disciplinary crisis.

Is it possible to change the teaching of the Church with regard to homosexual unions, especially considering that Pope Francis has publicly approved civil unions, which in the past were condemned by magisterial documents of the Vatican?

It must be made clear that behaviors against the Sixth Commandment of the Decalogue, especially those concerning sexual disorders that offend the Creator in the natural distinction of the sexes themselves and in the procreative purpose of the conjugal act, cannot be subjected to any updating, not even under pressure of power groups or iniquitous laws promulgated by the civil authority.

The hedonistic and pan-sexualist mentality that lies at the foundation of today’s dominant ideology, according to which the exercise of sexuality is not intrinsically ordered towards procreation but can have as its sole purpose the unregulated satisfaction of pleasure, should also be denounced without hesitation. This vision is repugnant to the natural order willed by the Creator, which makes the sexual act lawful only in the union of spouses blessed by the Sacrament and open to conception. It is evident that, since nature firstly does not make procreation between two men or two women possible, every form of sexuality between persons of the same sex is intrinsically disordered, and as such cannot be justified in any way.

Civil unions are nothing but forms of public legitimization of concubinage in which the couple does not assume the responsibilities and duties connected to the natural institution of marriage. If the civil authority approves such unions, it abuses its own authority, which Providence has instituted within the very precise limits of the bonum commune and never in direct contradiction of the salus animarum which the Church watches over with Her maternal authority. But if such unions are ratified by the ecclesiastical authority, the betrayal of the divine mandate is added to the perversion of the purpose for which the supreme Lawgiver willed it, rendering every even implicit form of official approval of sinful and scandalous behaviors de facto null and void.

There are many bishops in the United States who sign letters in support of indentification as LGBT and confirm this orientation, just as others – like Cardinal Cupich – suggest that homosexual couples can receive Holy Communion. What is your message to Catholics who may be bewildered by such pronouncements?

The pseudo-magisterium of recent years, in particular that of Amoris Laetitia regarding the admission to the Sacraments of public concubinaries and divorcees, has opened a breach in that part of the Magisterium which even after Vatican II had been preserved from systematic demolition by the innovators. It is therefore not surprising, even in its absolute gravity, that once people who are in the state of mortal sin have been admitted to Holy Communion, this unfortunate decision is then extended to people who do not have the capacity to contract legitimate marriages, since they are not a couple consisting of a man and a woman. But on closer inspection, this heterodox vision also concerns politicians who in their action of governance and social commitment publicly contradict Catholic teaching and betray the commitment to coherence which they assumed with their Baptism and Confirmation. On the other hand, so-called “adult Catholics” – who in the eyes of God are simply rebellious against His holy Law – find widespread approval among Bishops who are even more rebellious – like Cupich, Tobin, Gregory, and their followers, who are themselves unworthy of celebrating the Sacred Mysteries – while the Pastors who are faithful to the mandate conferred on them by Our Lord not only recognize their situation of public sin but also do not wish to aggravate it with the profanation of the Blessed Sacrament.

What is the essential and immutable teaching of the Church with regard to homosexuality?

The Church, faithful to the teaching of her Head, is Mother and not stepmother: she does not indulge her children’s weaknesses and inclination to sin, but she admonishes them, exhorts them, and punishes them with medicinal sanctions in order to lead every soul to the purpose for which it has been created, that is, eternal beatitude. Every soul, willed and loved by God, has been redeemed by the Redeemer on the Cross, for whom He has shed his very Blood: Cujus una stilla salvum facere totum mundum quit ab omni scelere. As we read in the Adoro te devote, composed by the Doctor Communis, one single drop of the Most Precious Blood of Christ has the power to save the entire human race from all of its sins.

The Church’s immutable teaching is simple, crystalline, and inspired by the love of God and the love of neighbor for His sake. It does not impose itself as a cruel castration of the tendencies and orientations of the human person which it irrationally defends as legitimate, but rather as a loving and harmonious development of the individual towards the sole purpose that can completely fulfill him and that corresponds to the intimate essence of his nature. Man is born to love, adore, and serve God, and so attain eternal beatitude in the glory of Paradise.

Making him believe that by indulging the corrupt instincts of original sin and personal sins he can in some way fulfill himself far from God and against Him constitutes a culpable deception and a very grave responsibility on the part of those who abuse their role as Shepherds in order to delude the sheep and plunge them into the abyss.

Instead, it is necessary to show, with patient but firm spiritual direction, that every human being has a supernatural destiny and a path of suffering and sacrifices that temper him and make him worthy of his eternal reward. There is no Resurrection without Calvary, no victory without a fight! This is true for every soul redeemed by Our Lord: both the married person and the celibate, the priest and the layperson, the man and the woman, the child and the elder. The battle against one’s own nature corrupted by Original Sin unites us all: the one who manages money must fight against the temptation to steal, the one who is married must fight against the temptation to betray his or her spouse, the one who lives in chastity must fight against temptations against purity, the one who eats nice food must fight against the temptation to gluttony, and the one who is exposed to public applause must fight against the temptation to pride.

Thus, with humility and trust in the Grace of God, and having recourse to the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin, every person whom the Lord puts to the test – even in the painful situation of homosexuality – must understand that it is in the battle against sin that one conquers one’s place in eternity, makes the Passion of Christ not rendered vain, and causes the splendor of the Mercy of God to shine forth towards His creatures, whom He helps in the moment of temptation – not with the illusory approval of inclinations to evil but by pointing to the glorious destiny that awaits each one of us: being admitted to the Wedding Feast of the Lamb wearing the royal robe that He has prepared for us.

May we be assisted in this earthly pilgrimage by the Grace regained with sacramental Absolution and the celestial food of the Holy Eucharist, the Bread of Angels and pledge of future glory.

We should also thank our competent, dedicated campaign team for so effectively presenting the case for our needs to you without sending too many campaign emails. The dust is still settling, and we don’t have a final total yet, but we now have adequate financial resources at a time when we are struggling mightily to keep up with the greatest flood of historic, challenging news developments ever encountered in our almost 25 years of existence. Usually, I give a summary of the most significant news reports in the last few days, but there is so much, of such truly great significance right now that I don’t know where to begin. There is a lot of deeply concerning news, but, more important, there are also inspiring and hopeful articles about truly great people, some of whom we never heard of even several months ago, speaking out and acting to save humanity from those who would destroy our way of life. We deem it a privilege to publish articles on the heroic actions and statements of these men and women whom God seems to have sent to us in response to your and our prayers. Some would say there is no better time for Christians to be living in than today because of the great dependence of God that these times force upon us. We are seeing heroes and saints in the making in opposition to the evil-controlled persons and forces that wish to crush us. For all believers in God, hope springs eternal in that “People can always find a reason to hope, even in the bleakest situations.” Only God is our hope and we are His instruments. That has always been the philosophy of LifeSite from our very beginning. That has caused us to take on ridiculously great challenges and report news that often no one else has yet reported and therefore risk ridicule and being accused of publishing fake news because of that. We rely on you to support us as we engage in what seems humanly impossible and when we have often had very little money left in our bank accounts. We trust in Divine Providence and He, through all of you, has never failed us. God bless all of you and we promise to work with our whole heart and soul to continue to earn the trust that so many of you have again placed in us. Steve Jalsevac and John-Henry Westen
