Selon le syndicat France-Police, le nombre de manifestants contre la dictature à prétexte sanitaire, le 11 septembre 2021, a augmenté pour la quatrième semaine consécutive. Il est passé de 460 000 le 14/8 à 480 000 le 21/8, 490 000 le 28/8, 500 000 le 4/9 à 520 000 le 11/9.
Ces chiffres contredisent les données du ministère de l’intérieur, qui indique une participation en baisse depuis le 7/8 (215 000 manifestants). Le 11/9, le ministère indique seulement 121 000 manifestants.
Au vu des vidéos publiés par le salon beige, les effectifs sont impressionnants dans des villes moyennes comme Albertville, Pau et Périgueux.
A Paris, l’une des manifestations a réuni au moins, au vu de la vidéo, 50 000 personnes. Or, le ministère n’a donné qu’un nombre de 19 000 manifestants pour les 5 manifestations, ce qui est donc très en dessous de la réalité.
Autre moyen d’évaluation, 121 000 pour plus de 200 manifestations, cela fait à peine 605 personnes en moyenne pour chacune d’elle. Or, même dans les villes moyennes (de 30 000 à 100 000 habitants), les manifestations ont souvent regroupé 700 à 2000 personnes.
Continuons à manifester et à boycotter les media et les enseignes qui ne protestent même pas contre ces contraintes injustifiées. En effet, en Suède, où la seule contrainte a consisté dans l’interdiction des réunions rassemblant plus de 50 personnes, le bilan au bout de 2 ans d’épidémie (de septembre 2019, date à laquelle 3 laborantins de Wuhan sont contaminés, à septembre 2021), est nettement inférieur à celui de la France: 1,4 mort pour 1000 habitants contre 1,7 pour la France (en cumul depuis le début de l’épidémie).
Même remarque pour de nombreux pays d’Europe du Nord: Finlande (0,2 mort pour 1000 habitants), Norvège (0,2), Danemark (0,4), Pays-Bas (1,0), qui se sont contenté de couvre-feux nocturnes.
Au contraire, la Belgique (2,2 morts pour 1000 habitants) , l’Italie (2,2), le Royaume-Uni (2,0), et l’Espagne (1,8), qui ont durement confiné, affiche des taux de mortalité très supérieurs à ceux des pays ci-dessus.
La résistance aux injections soi-disant obligatoires (elles ne sont en réalité pas obligatoires car contraire à la règle du consentement libre et éclairé qui fait partie des libertés fondamentales qui ne peuvent être mises en cause même pour des motifs de santé publique, motifs qui n’ont d’ailleurs pas été prouvés) est nécessaire, non seulement pour conserver la liberté de se soigner comme on le souhaite mais aussi pour ne pas subir les effets indésirables souvent graves et mortels, de ces soi-disant vaccins à ARN messager ou à adonavirus de chimpanzé (Astra-Zeneca).
Rappelons que les 4 injections acceptées par l’agence européenne des médicaments (Pfizer, Moderna, Astra-Zeneca et Johnson et Johnson) ont toutes utilisé, pour leur fabrication ou leurs tests, des tissus d’embryons avortés. Il en est de même pour Spoutnik 5.
Pour des raisons morales, de santé et pour nos libertés fondamentales, non aux injections obligatoires!
[Albert] Les Talibans “moyennâgeux” ? Mais le Moyen-Âge était bien plus lumineux !
Depuis la prise de la capitale afghane par les Talibans, pas une journée ne se passe sans allusion aux « heures les plus sombres de notre Moyen Âge » pour qualifier la barbarie des maîtres de Kaboul. Notre dette à l’égard du Moyen-âge demeure pourtant immense, rappelle l’historien Jean-Marc Albert. Il a vu se dessiner cet assemblage hétéroclite de terres qu’on appela la France. Aucun domaine de la pensée, de la politique, de la science, des arts ou de la culture ne saurait s’affranchir de son legs. C’est sans doute pour cela qu’on veut en flétrir la mémoire. Depuis quelques semaines, Kaboul aurait transposé toutes les fictions apocalyptiques, de Game Of Thrones à La servante écarlate, dans son décor taliban. Et d’aucun de voir dans le rapport de cet islam aux femmes, à la violence et à la religion un terrible « retour au Moyen-Âge ». La réalité du drame afghan mérite toutefois mieux que ces analogies faciles. L’insulte « moyenâgeuse » — son emploi est rarement laudatif — dépasse le cas afghan pour désigner toute forme de violence, mais aussi tout évènement ou propos qui échapperaient à la rhétorique progressiste. Emmanuel Macron a cédé, il y a peu, à la comparaison médiévale pour désigner la mutation sociétale que nous serions en train de vivre. Depuis Jack Lang apostrophant les ténèbres pour leur signifier que la lumière socialiste allait les chasser, personne n’avait plus osé recourir à ce procédé douteux. Ces ressorts médiévaux tiennent d’une conception héritée du médiévalisme romantique d’un Michelet mêlant autant d’images naïves que de lieux communs sur l’obscurantisme religieux et la barbarie politique de ce millénaire. Oubliant que nous sommes plus près de Jeanne d’Arc qu’elle ne l’était de Clovis. Le Moyen Âge est ainsi convoqué sans nuance pour dénoncer une politique ou un adversaire et surtout affirmer la supériorité de notre modernité. Ce dénigrement récurrent d’une période si riche est aussi une manière de s’affranchir de l’héritage politique, spirituel, et culturel issu de la Chrétienté médiévale, une énième volonté de déconstruire le legs de ce millénaire fondateur de notre civilisation.

Au pays de la liberté de conscience, la vaccination obligatoire de tous les soignants est vécue par les intéressés comme un dernier coup de poignard dans le dos des héros de la première vague. Souvenez-vous de ces infirmières, médecins, brancardiers, personnels d’EHPAD qui ont combattu en première ligne contre un virus inconnu, prenant des risques pour leur santé et celle de leur famille. Combien d’entre eux, d’abord applaudis par des confinés, sont aujourd’hui conspués par des cons finis ? D’aucuns osent, sans peur du ridicule, dénoncer le prétendu égoïsme de ceux qui consacrent leur vie à soigner celle des autres, arguant qu’ils doivent se faire vacciner pour les protéger. Ineptie. Jamais, dans l’histoire de l’Humanité, un vaccin n’avait été inoculé de force à un groupe d’individus pour protéger la vie des autres, potentiellement aux dépens des vaccinés. La balance bénéfice risque de la vaccination contre le Covid, très excédentaire pour les personnes âgées et/ou présentant de facteurs de comorbidités, s’inverse diamétralement pour les plus jeunes, en pleine santé, pour qui le vaccin est davantage une menace potentiellement mortelle qu’un moyen de protection contre un virus inopérant sur eux. En France, on ne compte plus les témoignages de jeunes personnes atteintes, parfois mortellement, de thromboses veineuses quelques jours après l’injection d’une dose de vaccin contre le Covid-19. REPLY: That is a very important question and it will be at the top of the list of topics we will address in addition to 2022, 2024, and 2032. We are facing a GLOBAL separatist movement that is not confined to just the United States. Everywhere from North America to Europe and Asia there are signs of tremendous stress that are unfolding along historic lines of separation.
I have been shaking every tree to try to ascertain what is in this vaccine that has governments so damn insistent that everyone must be vaccinated for a disease that has a mortality rate of less than 1% and it is typically the same people who die of the flu/pneumonia. I do not believe that those in government think that everyone who takes the vaccine will die in 2 to 3 years. They seem to believe that this is a way to control people.
Nonetheless, the real problem here is that these vaccines may not be all the same. There are people who have had a magnet stick to the place they got the shot and others it does not. Why? Some believe that there are differences in the vaccines and Gates is behind that to thin the herd. Nothing can be confirmed. It is all wild rumor. What I do not like is that the politicians have been bought all because they have totally screwed up the world financial system by borrowing endlessly with no intention of paying anything back.
All I can attest to is the stupidity of those in power and they have refused to reform or relinquish the slightest amount of power. The solution is always more power and this COVID scam appears to be more of a power grab and they intend to use the vaccine as the excuse to create internment camps to imprison those who resist their authority.
The fence is going back up out of fear of protests. Yes, Pelosi’s Fortress is becoming more permanent showing they know what they are doing is wrong. We can see what is unfolding in the land of the free that is no longer free. The troops will have loaded weapons that were banned after the Kent State killing of students. The rumor is that the troops are to be screened and if they voted for Trump they will be dismissed. They do not want any “Republicans” to have a gun inside the fence. That says it all.
I can also attest that we are looked down upon as animals. They have no intention of listening to us and as for constitutional rights, they do not consider that we have any. Jamais de mémoire vaticane on aura vu un tel affront diplomatique d’un pape vis-à-vis d’un chef de gouvernement régulièrement élu. En l’occurrence Viktor Orban, premier ministre hongrois. Le pape François a en effet refusé d’accorder le statut de visite d’État à son passage de quelques heures à Budapest ce dimanche matin, d’où il s’envolera dès le début d’après-midi pour trois jours en Slovaquie.
François n’a ainsi pas suivi l’avis, fin juin, de ses services diplomatiques qui l’avertissaient qu’un tel traitement ne pouvait être infligé à une nation de 10 millions d’habitants, à 62 % baptisés catholiques. Et encore moins à la dignité d’une Église locale, héroïque, où la simple évocation du nom d’un prélat en voie de béatification – grand résistant contre le nazisme puis contre le communisme – le cardinal Jozsef Mindszenty, suscite le respect immédiat (…)
Le pape François a évoqué dans son discours aux Hongrois “la menace de l’antisémitisme qui circule encore en Europe et ailleurs” dont la provenance a paradoxalement été identifiée par Viktor Orban, sans doute mieux que quiconque : l’invasion migratoire musulmane que subit l’Europe.
Victor Orban a profité des quelques minutes que le pape François lui a néanmoins concédées pour lui demander “ne pas laisser périr les chrétiens de Hongrie” :
François venait de rencontrer dans un huis clos total et dans le même musée des beaux-arts le président Hongrois Janos Ader et son premier ministre Victor Orban. En milieu de matinée dimanche peu d’informations avaient filtré de ce rendez-vous, pourtant très attendu, qui a duré un quart d’heure, le pape ayant plutôt marqué une forte distance vis-à-vis du premier ministre hongrois avant de quitter Rome. «J’ai demandé au pape de ne pas laisser périr les chrétiens de Hongrie», a rapporté de son côté le premier ministre sur son compte Facebook, où il a publié une photo de sa poignée de main avec le chef des 1,3 milliard de catholiques.
Orban, qui se présente comme le rempart numéro un en Europe contre «l’invasion musulmane», a par ailleurs offert à François la copie d’une lettre de 1250 d’un roi hongrois envoyée au pape de l’époque, implorant l’aide de l’Occident contre les guerriers tatars menaçant la Hongrie chrétienne.

Beaucoup a été dit sur le retrait désastreux des forces américaines d’Afghanistan, après 20 ans d’une présence massive et dispendieuse qui a échoué à construire, ou même à ébaucher, un État, des institutions, une armée afghane, moins encore à homogénéiser une société civile autour de valeurs et pratiques occidentales avec lesquelles la structure tribale et clanique du pays comme sa géographie cloisonnée sont par essence incompatibles. Le « cimetière des empires » porte décidemment bien son nom.
Mais l’Amérique, qui depuis des années déjà, sentait le vent tourner et la nécessité croissante de concentrer ses efforts sur la zone indopacifique – épicentre de sa confrontation avec Pékin – préparait sa reddition déguisée en changement de pied. Ses émissaires discutaient plus ou moins discrètement avec les Talibans. Elle se retire aujourd’hui dans un savant désordre, sans aucun scrupule ni gêne « morale » particulière vis à vis du peuple afghan dont la « libération » n’aura, comme ailleurs, été qu’un prétexte à une ingérence aux objectifs infiniment plus vastes et concrets.
En effet, la grande question que personne ne pose jamais, c’est : pourquoi les USA sont-ils restés 20 ans en Afghanistan ? Pas pour les femmes afghanes ni pour le Nation building, ni même pour la traque de Ben Laden (auquel on laissa néanmoins, comme à son beau-père le Mollah Omar, chef des Talibans d’alors, un bon mois pour s’échapper …)
Ce retrait chaotique est un écran de fumée qui permet, en mettant le focus sur l’aspect humanitaire certes préoccupant, de faire passer les Américains pour les (anciens) garants de l’évolution sociale et de la libération des femmes, escamotant du même coup le caractère profondément illégitime de cette ingérence occidentale et ses motivations éminemment prosaïques parmi lesquelles :
Étendre le spectre d’intervention de l’OTAN en Asie centrale avec pour une fois un vrai mandat puisque les membres de l’Alliance avaient alors pour la première fois, invoqué l’article 5 du Traité de l’Atlantique Nord après les attentats du 11 septembre ;
Gêner la Russie en favorisant l’éparpillement djihadiste en Asie centrale ;
Gêner l’expansion de l’influence iranienne (qui a déjà plus de 3 millions d’Afghans sur son sol et dont on peut gager que la cacophonie actuelle risque de projeter une nouvelle masse vers le territoire iranien, contribuant à aggraver la crise économique) ;
S’appuyer sur le Pakistan contre l’Inde soutenue par la Russie ;
Contrôler la production de Lithium (alors indispensable à la croissance chinoise via la fabrication des smartphones).
La crise actuelle n’est donc pas qu’une opération de retrait mal préparée et précipitée. C’est avant tout la démonstration grandeur nature du cynisme total de la politique étrangère américaine.
Cela rappelle d’ailleurs furieusement la politique américaine en son temps au Kossovo : à partir de l’été 1998, les États-Unis avaient, sans crier gare, rayé l’UCK (armée révolutionnaire albanaise du Kossovo) de la liste des organisations terroristes alors que celle-ci était aux mains de véritables criminels qui semaient la terreur dans la province serbe (Hacim Thaci et ses sbires Ceku, etc..). Soudainement légitimes et fréquentables, les leaders de l’UCK furent institués par les Américains en interlocuteurs privilégiés à même de discuter des conditions de la paix (c’est-à-dire de la guerre contre la Serbie récalcitrante et soutenue par Moscou) qui seront plus tard imposées à toutes les autres chancelleries occidentales. Ça a donné les pseudo « Accords de Rambouillet », évidemment inacceptables pour Belgrade, et le prétexte au lancement des frappes de l’OTAN en mars 1999. Le cynisme de la manœuvre américaine est plus manifeste encore dans le cas Afghan, si l’on considère que le retrait a été négocié en contrepartie de l’abandon aux Talibans d’une quantité impressionnante d’armements, vestiges des 85 milliards de dollars d’équipements déversés dans le cadre des programmes US « train, advise and assist » de l’armée et de l’administration afghanes durant 20 ans. Un ancien responsable américain du « Procurement program » mentionnait récemment (certes à visée partisane) les 75 000 véhicules légers et lourds (60 chars légers, 12 lourds), les 50 canons ou mortiers lourds, les 7 drones militaires, les 200 avions et hélicoptères (24 dont nombre de Black Hawk et les 600 000 armes légères abandonnés aux nouveaux maitres de Kaboul). Mais le pire est ailleurs. Les Talibans se sont vu concéder les technologies (lunettes de vision nocturne, de Scanners des yeux et d’empreintes digitales) et les bases de données biométriques et biographiques américaines dernier cri leur permettant de cibler et réprimer tous les Afghans (et ils sont des centaines de milliers) qui ont de près ou de loin collaboré avec les Américains depuis 20 ans ! Les USA leur donnent ainsi ni plus ni moins les clefs de la maitrise et de la surveillance de la population, la liste de tous ceux qu’il faut éliminer ou marginaliser !
Le Nation building est une utopie une fois encore consacrée dans les faits. Il n’y a plus rien à gagner pour Washington à demeurer dans ce pays et à risquer un nouvel enlisement humiliant… si ce n’est à favoriser désormais la déstabilisation du pays en comptant sur les forces de résistance diverses au pouvoir Taleb (cf. le fils du commandant Massoud et d’autres) et en s’appuyant parallèlement sur le Pakistan. Il s’agit désormais pour Washington de gêner Russes, Iraniens et Chinois qui ont, eux, tout intérêt à stabiliser le pays (donc le pouvoir Taleb) afin de contrôler les agissements des groupuscules islamistes (EI-Khorassan et Al Qaida) pour éviter les transferts de djihadistes en Asie centrale (pour Moscou), de contrôler l’instrumentalisation des Ouighours (pour Pékin) et de limiter l’afflux de réfugiés chiites afghans (pour Téhéran). Ces considérations sécuritaires nourrissent le pragmatisme de ces puissances régionales.
Le fiasco humanitaire sur lequel les médias mondiaux se sont concentrés n’est donc que l’arbre qui cache une forêt profonde et dangereuse : celle des influences multiples, convergentes ou parfois antagonistes de voisins qui jouent dans ce pays et à ses dépens ultimes, une partie mondiale.
Il est remarquable de constater que Iraniens comme Russes, Chinois, et même Turcs et Qataris (qui ont accueilli les Talibans à Doha depuis des années), entretiennent des relations éminemment pragmatiques avec les Talibans.
Tandis que la Russie renforce son contrôle sécuritaire régional dans une stratégie d’interdiction sur sa façade occidentale, en réponse aux manœuvres militaires de l’OTAN , ainsi que de réassurance de ses alliés centre asiatiques comme en témoignent les manœuvres militaires Zapad et Rubezh en cours, L’Iran est sans doute le principal bénéficiaire du retour des Talibans au pouvoir en terme d’influence régionale mais aussi dans le cadre de son alliance de plus en plus structurante avec Pékin qui d’ailleurs renforce singulièrement la main du nouveau président, à l’heure actuelle, dans le cadre de la renégociation voulue par les USA du JCPOA.
Dans ce contexte, les déclarations fracassantes de John Bolton au Washington Post, qui appelle désormais à frapper préventivement le Pakistan car il craindrait qu’ils ne se servent des 150 têtes nucléaires, … que les USA leur ont permis d’acquérir, semblent une mauvaise farce, à moins que ce ne soit le comble du cynisme.
Quand on l’entend aujourd’hui oser s’insurger contre le Pakistan, sembler découvrir le pouvoir tenu par les services secrets pakistanais et l’armée, s’inquiéter de la bombe pakistanaise et appeler à des frappes préventives, on croit rêver. « The Chicken Hawk » (surnom donné par Trump à Bolton car « planqué » pendant le Vietnam mais fana de toutes les guerres) exploite l’ignorance et la mémoire de poisson rouge des opinions et leaders occidentaux. C’est juste inaudible ! Il vient nous expliquer aujourd’hui qu’il aurait « découvert et enfin compris que les Pakistanais étaient de dangereux extrémistes, que le pays était aux mains de l’ISI (Services de Renseignement pakistanais) et des militaires, et jouait un double jeu !!!! Ce n’est pas un scoop !
Soit cet homme est affligé d’une cécité meurtrière soit « Il nous prend pour des truffes ». C’est lui-même, alors au Département d’Etat en charge des questions de désarmement qui poussa George Bush junior, quelques semaines après le 11 septembre, à quasi effacer la dette pakistanaise, poussant les membres des Clubs de Paris et Londres à en « restructurer » une partie considérable, à inonder le pays d’aides multiples notamment bilatérales à hauteur de 6 milliards de dollars au prétexte d’en faire un « allié stratégique » de l’Amérique dans sa « War on Terror » …. Alors que le Pakistan était le sanctuaire de croissance et de protection des Talibans (et l’est resté jusqu’à aujourd’hui), à coopérer étroitement avec l’ISI (les Services secrets pakistanais), et last but not least, à trouver normal que le pays soit devenu atomique avec l’argent de son allié saoudien et l’appui indirect des technologies occidentales (depuis des années déjà pour gêner à l’époque Moscou qui appuyait Dehli.). L’imposture est énorme. Mais nul ne se risque naturellement à en piper mot dans les médias européens, et « ça passe crème ».
La réalité, c’est que les USA ont bloqué la Russie et l’Iran depuis 40 ans en se servant notamment de l’extrémisme sunnite partout dans le monde, c’est qu’ils sont les concepteurs et les auxiliaires (avec l’argent Saoudien et la CIA) du djihadisme mondial depuis les Freedom fighters afghans des années 80, mais que cela ne peut durer éternellement. Ils ont désormais mieux à faire, et partent en essayant indirectement de montrer au monde combien leur départ est un drame pour la population afghane…dont ils n’ont jamais eu rien à faire ! Le sort tragique des femmes afghanes est un leurre finalement peu coûteux qui cache sans vergogne la forêt d’un accord parfaitement assumé avec les Talibans. Cette déroute humiliante n’en est donc que partiellement une. Les US s’en vont et changent de braquet tout simplement, ils lâchent leurs alliés comme ils l’ont fait partout ailleurs. Car l’idée de la manœuvre US de retrait en désordre n’est autre que de laisser s’égailler les islamistes en Asie centrale pour gêner Moscou et Téhéran. « ISIS-K » est le nouveau monstre, en fait de la résurgence de l’EI dans les provinces afghanes.
Comme nous l’avons vu, Les gagnants sont, au plan stratégique, les Russes, les Iraniens et les Chinois, qui vont remplir le vide laissé par les Etats-Unis, et qui vont pouvoir monitorer de près les islamistes locaux. Mais les gagnants de second rang sont aussi les Turcs et Qataris (qui ont hébergé et financé les Talibans depuis toujours).
Au-delà, Cette déroute est aussi celle, magistrale, de l’occidentalisme déjà mis à mal et lourdement décrédibilisé par les ingérences désastreuses, sous la bannière cynique d’une modernité ignorante, présomptueuse, aveugle et violente en Syrie, en Libye et jusqu’au Yémen.
Même si, sous l’effet d’un sortilège puissant, l’humilité et le remords saisissaient aujourd’hui les politiques américains et leurs vassaux européens, le mal semble fait, et la bascule des forces et des influences s’est produite. Le vide moral, éthique, politique et désormais militaire, laissé par l’interventionnisme américain a ouvert de vertigineux espaces aux influences iranienne, russe, et chinoise. Il est probable que nous soyons à la veille d’une campagne d’attentats en Europe et même aux USA. La campagne présidentielle en France constitue à cet égard une sanglante fenêtre d’opportunité. L’Afghanistan va redevenir un vivier de terrorisme islamiste et de renaissance de l’Etat-islamique version locale. L’ONU estime que 15 des 34 provinces afghanes sont infestées par Al Qaida ou ISIS-K.
Enfin, et plus largement encore, la nullité spectaculaire des Américains pour organiser un retrait pourtant prévu depuis des mois, est de bon augure du point de vue chinois en cas de crise à Taiwan : si Taiwan était envahie ou prise par Pékin, comment voudrait et pourrait réagir Washington ? Growing up in mostly-rural North Carolina, most of my friends and especially their parents could go on a bit about their family backgrounds, about their familial histories. Most of my friends—like me—had great-grandfathers or great-great-grandfathers who had served in Confederate ranks back in 1861-1865. Pride in family and in our ancestors was taken for granted, a devout appreciation we all shared.
Especially during the centennial commemorations of the early 1960s, most of us youngsters took an intense interest in all the various events, the re-enactments on a large scale and the ceremonies attending the anniversary. Our imaginations were filled with stories of heroism, sacrifice, honor, tragic defeat and attendant suffering, unrealized dreams, and legends and traditions passed down to us. Public schools back then actually encouraged this fascination and interest in history and the characters and personalities in it who seemed, almost like magic, to come alive once again.
Indeed, it had been scarcely a decade since the last Confederate veteran had passed away in 1959! Many of us could recall that. And our parents? They had grown up surrounded by the ever-decreasing ranks of those valiant veterans, listening to first-hand accounts of the great and heartbreaking epic that was the War for Southern Independence.
My grandfather on my mother’s side was Henry Johnson Perry. Granddad Perry was born in Raleigh in 1877 and lived until 1962. As a young boy I remember well him recounting to me standing hatless on old Fayetteville Street in North Carolina’s capital on May 30, 1893, a sixteen year old apprentice, dressed all in black, with thousands of other citizens reverently paying tribute to President Jefferson Davis, whose remains were carried by horse-drawn caisson from the railroad station to lie in state under the rotunda of the historic North Carolina State Capitol, en route to his final resting place in Richmond.
Granddad’s father, Josiah Hunter Perry, an official with the old Raleigh & Gaston Railroad, had been forced in April 1865 by General Sherman to conduct him and his staff by rail over to Bennitt Station (now Durham) to receive the surrender of General Joseph Johnston. Waiting for the surrender to occur, he sat under a cherry tree and carved a “peace pipe,” a relic I still have and which continues to remind me of my history and my ancestor.
Granddad’s grand-father, Robert, had served many years in the North Carolina legislature in the 1820s and had married the grand-daughter of Isaac Hunter, the founder of Raleigh. All that family—all that history—danced through my imagination sixty years ago; I could visualize it, I could see it in my mind’s eye. It was real, it was present…and despite the many years that have elapsed, it still is.
Pride in one’s ancestry…pride in what the late Southern writer and historian Mel Bradford termed “remembering who we are”…was integral to defining what we valued and held dear in life. We were intimately related to our ancestors, they were part of us. Their blood coursed through our veins. Their memory was not that far removed. Their examples stood before us as models to emulate, a challenge for us to uphold their honor and their noble efforts to defend home, family, and the rights vouchsafed to them by their fathers and ancestors…who had cobbled together the older American confederation.
In any nation, in any people or civilization worthy of the name, such an appreciation is natural, part of the national and cultural psyche. It is indeed quite normal for a people to recall its past, to celebrate its successes and heroes, to lament its defeats and hardships. These are part and parcel of what define and make us, as Bradford states, “who we are.” Deprive a people of its history, of its traditions, of its inherited culture, and you deprive it of essential ingredients of its very existence. It becomes a mass of rootless individuals, of automatons, subject to the latest whim or the most persistent and enticing siren voice of some powerful ideology or, in modern times, of George Orwell’s Big Brother and its extensive tentacles in and incestuous partnership with the communications industry, education, and the media.
Fyodor Dostoyevsky has one of the three brothers in his novel The Brothers Karamazov declare, “If God does not exist, everything is permitted.” Stripping people of their faith, and then denuding them of the essential characteristics which define them is and has always been the work of Revolutions, whether of the Cromwellian attempt in the 17th century, the fanaticism of a Robespierre in France in the late 18th, or the genocide of the Marxists in Russia and China in the 20th. As now, in our day the lunatics who run our schools and colleges, dominate our entertainment, spout our daily news, and control our politics, whether it be the Democrats or the Republicans, do the same with unalloyed frenzy. They make the spectre of “Big Brother” look like a Sunday school teacher.
My dissertation topic years back at the University of Navarra in Spain, Juan Vazquez de Mella, stated it this way:
“Who has ever seen ‘the individual,’ if not defined by his family, his region, his profession, his language, his inheritance, his faith? Removed from these defining characteristics the individual is an abstraction, and a political system based on an abstraction must either end in despotism or revolution.”
Since the 1980s and ‘90s, we have seen the almost unrestrained and rapacious growth of an eventually fatal cancer within our body politic. Denominated variously as “progressivism,” “neo-“ or “post-Marxism,” and more recently as “anti-racism” or “the movement for equity,” it draws its force intellectually from the concept of the Idea of Progress, that is, that history unfolds irresistibly in one direction—the “progressive” direction—which encompasses the ineluctable advance and triumph of essentially secular and globalist ideas. At base it is egalitarian, and even though it may profess respect for or even belief in God, its cumulative effects are to pervert, weaken and, finally, destroy the natural linkage between man and his Creator. For the progressivist, religion, particularly the Christian religion, becomes just one more obstacle to be tamed, neutralized, and lastly, employed in the advance to a universal secular utopia.
It was not that traditional society was opposed to advances in science or economics; it was not. But such innovations were seen as a natural part of the flourishing of God’s Creation, not opposed to it or superseding it.
The great stratagem of Marx and Lenin and their votaries was to expropriate “progress” and weaponize it: the proletariat, united, under the leadership of the self-anointed heads of the Revolution would lead the “oppressed” to victory, to that utopia where there was no want, no poverty, no sadness, where everyone was equal and happy.
Throughout history different revolutions have shared these characteristics, have made these promises, and each time the result has been a terrible dystopian nightmare.
The full attack in recent years on Southern traditions, identity, and iconography is but a symptom, an element of an all-out assault on Western Christian civilization, its culture, and belief. Prominent members of the official opposition “conservative movement”—a Rich Lowry at National Review, a Brian Kilmeade at Fox News, or a Ben Shapiro, and any number of others—attempt to compartmentalize the ongoing “culture war” by accepting, even applauding the eradication of any visible sign of Confederate and Southern history. But like temporizers in any revolution they fail to understand the futility of their positions, which only abet the appetite of the radicals.
Whether a Kerensky and the Social Revolutionaries who helped usher in Lenin’s rise to power in Russia, or the Girondins who believed they could somehow harness the revolutionary fury in late 18th century France, moderation and attempts to placate the madness and hysteria of revolutionary zealots are doomed to disaster. Half-measures never work.
There is a whimsical episode in the superb historical film, “Waterloo” (1970), which illustrates exactly the position of Establishment Conservatives and their “opposition” to the fanatical tsunami of violent revolution: an illiterate private in the Welsh Guards who has engaged in plunder and stolen a young pig, cautions the pig not to squeal, not to alert those around him of his plunder (a capital offense under military rules). “Be quiet,” he tells the pig, “and I’ll only eat half of you!” Confronted by shrill and seemingly overwhelming demands by a noisy nucleus of woke leftists, authorized conservatives and Republicans respond to the revolutionaries in the same manner: “Only kill us half-way, but please, oh please, don’t call us racists!”
The recent attacks on Southern monuments and symbols, which are essentially an assault on Southern identity, cannot be dissociated from a broader offensive by our modern “progressivists” on Western civilization. To think otherwise is worse than wrongheaded, it is fatal.
In the contemporary South the great success of the revolutionaries has been to atomize much of society, deprive large portions of it, especially the young, of those inherited traditions, those customs, those beliefs—those memories—which have given it substance and continuity, which have served as its shield and buckler. Instead of what Southern writer Richard Weaver called a communitarian “social bond individualism,” life centered around family and church, and indelibly defined by region and custom, progressivism breaks and severs those bonds, isolates individuals, and renders them subject to the social decay and dislocation which an omnipotent managerial state, in league with woke capitalism, utilizes to advance its vision of a future society.
In the past I have urged the termination of the public school system—privatizing education and putting it back in the hands of the parents where it belongs. I have authored several pieces on the possibilities for secession, or, rather, the separation of various American states and counties (perhaps the best and most peaceful means to resolve the irreducible differences within the American citizenry, if it were possible). But more importantly, I have advocated a return, a rededication to those principles and that belief which once motivated and annealed our ancestors. That spirit, that wisdom, that inspiration is there, it is still there for those who seek it. Scraping away the ugly dross of political correctness and “wokeness” we can recover those memories, rekindle them, and draw from them strength.
In his work, Requiem for A Nun (1951), Southern novelist William Faulkner says of his fellow Southerners that for them, “The past is never dead. It’s not even past.”
One of the most remarkable poems of the 20th century is by the incomparable Southern Agrarian Donald Davidson. Titled “Lee in the Mountains,” it summons us once more to the battle lines and to eventual victory, if we have faith and an unshakeable commitment to our cause. For, in the end, God will not forsake us. We must be like Gideon’s small army and General Forrest’s “critter company.”
Sense the confidence that springs from our Christian faith and which Davidson reminds us of:
Young men, the God of your fathers is a just And merciful God Who in this blood once shed On your green altars measures out all days, And measures out the grace Whereby alone we live; And in His might He waits, Brooding within the certitude of time, To bring this lost forsaken valor And the fierce faith undying And the love quenchless To flower among the hills to which we cleave, To fruit upon the mountains whither we flee, Never forsaking, never denying His children and His children’s children forever Unto all generations of the faithful heart.
Gibraltar has had a 99% vaccination rate since June 1. The consequence has been a 2,500 percent daily increase in Covid cases. As the vaccine is useless, why the push for mandatory vaccination and Covid passports? It makes no public health sense.

There are two reasons for Covid infections. One is the mRNA vaccine which spreads Covid.
The other is the refusal of the Western medical establishment to prevent and treat Covid with HCQ or Ivermectin.
The massive outbreak of new Covid cases in the most vaccinated countries–Israel 84%, Iceland 95%, Gibraltar 99%–has made it completely clear that the mRNA vaccine does not protect against Covid infection. Fauci, a life-long shill for Big Pharma, is delighted. His solution to the failure of the “vaccine” (it is not a vaccine) is more vaccine. Booster shots are needed, he says, every 5 to 8 months to keep Covid at bay. In other words profits forever for Big Pharma.
But the failure of the mRNA vaccine is far more serious than the failure to protect. The vaccine itself (1) causes illnesses and deaths identical to Covid illnesses and deaths as the massive number of deaths and health injuries in the adverse vaccine reaction databases indicate, (2) the “vaccine” creates variants capable of escaping immune response, and (3) the vaccinated are contagious and dangerous to the unvaccinated.
In other words, the so-called breakthrough cases that are now overwhelming the most vaccinated countries are caused by vaccination. To continue jabbing people risks such death and injury and counterproductive totalitarian policies as to lead to societal collapse.
This is the conclusion of a number of top scientists and medical authorities who are far superior in their knowledge than Big Pharma shills like Fauci and Walensky and the completely stupid American media who keep repeating “a pandemic of the unvaccinated” when the outbreaks are centered among the vaccinated in the most vaccinated countries.
We have to ask if it is possible even for American journalists to be as stupid as they present themselves to be, or are they being paid to lie? We know that Fauci and Walensky benefit from vaccine profits. Somehow this conflict of interest does not enter public discussion. Where are the indictments for Fauci and Walensky?
Indeed, all facts are censored, suppressed, and kept out of public discussion. That is the function of “social media,” CNN, NPR, New York Times, Washington Post and the rest of the presstitutes.
The “Covid crisis” is from start to finish a manufactured crisis. The purpose of the mRNA vaccine is to worsen the crisis, which will lead to more counterproductive measures that threaten not merely freedom but life itself.
It has been proven in India and Africa that Ivermectin used as a preventative prevents Covid outbreaks, and Ivermectin has been proven as a cure by the success of many doctors who have used Ivermectin to cure their patients of Covid. Ivermectin is a safe and effective cure.

The Covid policy being implemented in the West has no logic and no basis in any known facts. What is going on?
Doctors and scientists have reported the effectiveness of HCQ and Ivermectin, which have such safe records of use over decades that in countries not controlled by pharmaceutical companies they are available for over-the-counter purchase just like aspirin. Yet the corrupt American medical establishment declares the proven preventatives and cures to be “unsafe,” and the mRNA vaccine that is spreading Covid is declared to be the answer.

How can it be that in “free and democratic America” truth and facts are excluded from the discussion and have no impact on Covid policy? How can it be that the leading scientists and medical practitioners who issue warnings against the growing vaccine catastrophe are censored and threatened with losing their medical licenses and employment? What is happening in America is worse than what happened to Soviet geneticists under Lysenko.
Indeed, the ideologue Fauci is America’s Lysenko. Under Lysenko’s rule, Soviet agriculture was destroyed and millions starved to death. The real scientists who understood that Lysenko was a crank paid with their lives and careers. 3,000 mainstream biologists were dismissed or imprisoned. The president of the Agriculture Academy was sent to prison where he died, while Soviet genetics research was destroyed. Research and teaching in the field of other biological disciplines, such as cell biology and neurophisiology, deemed inconsistent with the Lysenko narrative were banned.

People cannot get safe and effective treatment for Covid, because an incompetent and corrupt medical system will only vaccinate, refuses to treat Covid infection with appropriate doses of HCQ or Ivermectin, spreads fake stories to scare people away from successful treatment, and seeks to take away the medical licenses of the doctors who are actually saving lives.

Despite all the evidence that mRNA vaccines fail to protect against Covid infections, cause massive adverse health effects, and create variants that escape immune response, a massive number of health care providers and employers are requiring inoculation as a condition of employment.

Healthy people face a minuscule threat of death or serious injury from Covid. Vulnerable people with co-morbidities can be safely and securely put on preventative doses of Ivermectin or HCQ. There is no reason, other than pure negligence of the medical profession, for vulnerable people to even catch Covid. There is certainly no reason for them to die because the medical profession withholds treatment with known cures.
It is astonishing that people in Africa subject to River Blindness and malaria are a hundred times safer from Covid than Americans and Western Europeans.

Reports of Injuries, Deaths After COVID Vaccines Hit New Highs, as Biden Rolls Out Plan to Force 100 Million More Americans to Get Vaccinated

Data released today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) showed that between Dec. 14, 2020 and Sept. 3, 2021, a total of 675,593 adverse events following COVID vaccines were reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). The data included a total of 14,506 reports of deaths — an increase of 595 over the previous week.
There were 88,171 reports of serious injuries, including the reports of deaths, during the same time period — up 2,200 compared with the previous week.
Of the 6,577 U.S. deaths reported as of Sept. 3, 12% occurred within 24 hours of vaccination, 18% occurred within 48 hours of vaccination and 31% occurred in people who experienced an onset of symptoms within 48 hours of being vaccinated.
In the U.S., 373.2. million COVID vaccine doses had been administered as of Sept. 3. This includes: 212 million doses of Pfizer, 146 million doses of Moderna and 14 million doses of Johnson & Johnson (J&J).
The data come directly from reports submitted to VAERS, the primary government-funded system for reporting adverse vaccine reactions in the U.S.
Every Friday, VAERS makes public all vaccine injury reports received as of a specified date, usually about a week prior to the release date. Reports submitted to VAERS require further investigation before a causal relationship can be confirmed.
This week’s U.S. data for 12- to 17-year-olds show:
19,015 total adverse events, including 1,132 rated as serious and 19 reported deaths. Two of the 19 deaths were suicides.The most recent death involves one report of two patients [VAERS I.D. 1655100] who died after their second dose of Pfizer, including a 13-year old female. Other recent reported deaths include a 15-year-old boy (VAERS I.D. 1498080) who previously had COVID, was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy in May 2021 and died four days after receiving his second dose of Pfizer’s vaccine on June 18, when he collapsed on the soccer field and went into ventricular tachycardia; and a 13-year-old girl (VAERS I.D. 1505250) who died after suffering a heart condition after receiving her first dose of Pfizer.
Biden announces sweeping COVID vaccine mandates targeting the unvaccinated
As The Defender reported today, President Biden ordered sweeping new federal COVID vaccine requirements for as many as 100 million Americans — including private sector employees, healthcare workers and federal contractors — threatening thousands in fines for businesses that do not comply.
In his speech, Biden made no exception for the millions of Americans with natural immunity, and did not mention exemptions for those with medical conditions or sincerely held religious beliefs.
Biden’s plan mandates COVID vaccines, or weekly mandatory testing, for all employers with more than 100 employees. The vaccines will be mandated for all federal workers and government contractors — with no allowance for weekly testing.
Biden’s plan also requires 17 million healthcare workers at Medicare and Medicaid participating hospitals and other healthcare settings be vaccinated.
30-year-old woman develops neurological disorders following Pfizer vaccine

On March 18, she and her now husband received their first and only dose of Pfizer. She subsequently developed a number of symptoms, including changes in her vision, which progressed rapidly over the course of several weeks.
After seeing numerous doctors, some of whom said her symptoms were “in her head,” Dominique was diagnosed with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), a condition she did not have prior to being vaccinated, and autoimmune chronic demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy — a rare type of autoimmune disorder where the body attacks the fatty coverings on the fibers that insulate and protect the nerves. She also had neuropathy and brain scan abnormalities.
According to the most recent data from VAERS, there have been 14,873 total reports of dystonia, dystonic tremors, neurodegenerative disorders, neurological symptoms, neuropathy, polyneuropathy and tremors following COVID vaccination.

CDC changes definition of vaccine so it ‘can’t be interpreted to mean vaccines are 100% effective’
The CDC revised its definition for vaccine and vaccination on its website, downgrading the definition of “vaccine” from a product that produces immunity to a preparation for protection. The agency said the new definition is “more transparent” and can’t be misinterpreted.
“While there have been slight changes in wording over time to the definition of ‘vaccine’ on CDC’s website, those haven’t impacted the overall definition,” a CDC spokesperson told The Epoch Times via email.
“The previous definition at Immunization Basics | CDC could be interpreted to mean that vaccines are 100% effective, which has never been the case for any vaccine, so the current definition is more transparent, and also describes the ways in which vaccines can be administered,” the spokesperson said.
From 2015 to Aug. 31, a vaccine was defined as “a product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease, protecting the person from that disease” and vaccination was “the act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce immunity to a specific disease.”
Earlier versions of a vaccine definition also included “immunity” in its definition.
The new definition for the vaccine now reads, “A preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases,” while vaccination is “the act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce protection from a specific disease.”
NIH awards $1.67 million to study possible link between menstrual disorders and COVID vaccines
Five institutions will explore potential links between COVID vaccines and menstrual irregularities after the National Institutes of Health (NIH) awarded five one-year supplemental grants totaling $1.67 million to explore potential links between COVID vaccines and menstrual changes.
The year-long study initially will follow 400,000 to 500,000 unvaccinated participants to observe changes that occur following each dose. Researchers will assess the prevalence and severity of post-vaccination changes to menstrual characteristics, including flow, cycle length, pain and other symptoms.
The analyses will account for other factors that can affect menstruation — such as stress, medications and exercise — to determine whether the changes are attributable to vaccination.
The NIH was made aware in April that thousands of women reported changes in their menstrual cycles following COVID vaccination — including missed, irregular and heavy periods. The effect of COVID vaccines on menstrual cycles was not assessed in clinical trials.
100+ youth sent to hospital for vaccine-related heart problems
A report released last week by Public Health Ontario (PHO) showed the incidence of heart inflammation following mRNA vaccination was significantly more prevalent in young people.
As of Aug. 7, there were 106 incidents of myocarditis and pericarditis in people under the age of 25 in Ontario — slightly more than half of the total of all such incidents. There were 31 cases in the 12- to 17-year age group and 75 cases in 18- to 24-year-olds.
The reporting rate for heart inflammation in those 18 to 24 was seven times higher with Moderna than with Pfizer.
Since the start of the COVID immunization program in Ontario on Dec. 13, there have been a total of 314 reports of myocarditis or pericarditis following receipt of mRNA COVID vaccines, 202 emergency room visits across all age groups, 146 hospitalizations and three cases resulting in ICU admission.
187 days and counting, CDC ignores The Defender’s inquiries
According to the CDC website, “the CDC follows up on any report of death to request additional information and learn more about what occurred and to determine whether the death was a result of the vaccine or unrelated.”
On March 8, The Defender contacted the CDC with a written list of questions about reported deaths and injuries related to COVID vaccines. We have made repeated attempts, by phone and email, to obtain a response to our questions.
Despite multiple phone and email communications with many people at the CDC, and despite being told that our request was in the system and that someone would respond, we have not yet received answers to any of the questions we submitted. It has been 187 days since we sent our first email to the CDC requesting information.
