Les graphiques montrent que l’une des personnes décédées avait reçu sa première dose de vaccin dans les 21 jours avant son décès et 19 d’entre elles ont reçu une dose du vaccin plus de 21 jours avant leur décès. Selon les dernières données, 2,0% des personnes vaccinées testées positives pour le variant Delta nécessitent des soins d’urgence, contre seulement 1,48 % des personnes non vaccinées. 50 personnes décédées du variant Delta ont pris les deux doses du vaccin covid-19. Au total, 70 des 27 192 individus vaccinés dans l’étude sont décédés, ce qui représente un taux de mortalité de 0,26 %. Pendant ce temps, 44 des 53 822 personnes non vaccinées sont décédées, entraînant une mortalité de 0,08 %.
L’étude montre aussi que le risque de mourir avec un variant du virus chinois est exceptionnellement faible, surtout si une personne n’a pas reçu le vaccin.
Cependant, les personnes vaccinées sont également 600% plus susceptibles de mourir des « variants » de Covid que les personnes non vaccinées. « Les données actuelles sont conformes aux données publiées la semaine dernière par l’agence de santé publique d’Angleterre qui ont également montré un taux de mortalité six fois plus élevé parmi les personnes entièrement vaccinées que les non vaccinées et un taux d’admission à l’hôpital de 2,3% parmi les personnes complètement vaccinées au moins deux semaines plus tôt contre seulement 1,2% parmi les non vaccinés », explique en outre Celeste McGovern de LifeSiteNews.
Il s’avère que ceux qui ont été vaccinés sont beaucoup plus susceptibles de souffrir et de mourir.
Tout cela ne fait que vérifier ce que la chercheuse du Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Stephanie Seneff a affirmé concernant l’amélioration dépendante des anticorps, ou ADE, par le vaccin conduit également à des dommages immunitaires qui rendent une personne vaccinée plus susceptible de tomber malade : « Il est concevable pour moi que la spécificité du faisceau laser des anticorps induits soit compensée par un affaiblissement général de l’immunité innée », explique Seneff. « Je soupçonne également que des campagnes de vaccination massives peuvent accélérer la vitesse à laquelle les souches mutantes résistantes au vaccin deviennent dominantes parmi toutes les souches du SRAS-Co-V2 [coronavirus]. »
Ces données sont confirmées par un article du Wall Street Journal publié vendredi 25 juin. Montrant les résultats préliminaires des autorités sanitaires israéliennes, l’article révèle que plus de la moitié des adultes infectés lors de l’épidémie par le variant Delta en Israël ont reçu le vaccin.
« Environ la moitié des adultes infectés par le variant Delta du Covid-19 en Israël ont été entièrement inoculés avec le vaccin Pfizer Inc. », écrit le WSJ.
Le variant Delta est donc plus dangereux pour les personnes vaccinées.
Pourtant les grands médias et les politiciens continuent à exhorter les populations à se faire vacciner. Ainsi, Joe Biden a utilisé l’excuse de ce variant Delta pour pousser les Américains à la vaccination :
« Plus de six cent mille Américains sont morts, et avec ce variant delta, vous savez qu’il y en aura d’autres également. Tu sais que ça va arriver. Nous devons faire vacciner les jeunes », a déclaré Biden dans un centre communautaire de Raleigh, en Caroline du Nord.
« Les données ne pourraient pas être plus claires : si vous êtes vacciné, vous êtes en sécurité », a-t-il ajouté. « Vous risquez toujours de tomber gravement malade ou de mourir si vous n’avez en fait pas été vacciné, c’est juste la réalité. »
Le compte Twitter officiel de Joe Biden a également envoyé jeudi une vidéo dans laquelle le Dr Anthony Fauci exhorte les Américains à se faire vacciner, utilisant une fois de plus le variant Delta pour effrayer les gens et les pousser à accepter ces injections expérimentales.

Dans une longue tribune publiée le 28 juin dernier par la revue russe Russia in Global Affairs (version originale, en russe), le ministre des affaires étrangères de la Russie Sergueï Lavrov revient longuement sur les mécanismes de domination des pays occidentaux sur le reste du monde, et sur les stratégies que l’Occident met en oeuvre, au nom du libéralisme et de la domination économique des Etats-Unis et de ses satellites – dont la France – pour imposer sa conception du monde au reste de l’Humanité.
“A ce titre, Lavrov déplore le remplacement progressif du droit international par des «règles» édictées par les Occidentaux, qui conduisent à une politique du «deux poids, deux mesures» évoluant au gré de leurs intérêts. Ce processus se manifeste selon lui par une attaque non seulement contre le droit international mais également contre la «nature humaine»“, résume le média russe Russia Today. Ces règles et le double discours dans leur application sont souvent désignées sous l’expression des “doubles standards” dans la politique intérieure et étrangère russe.
Au passage, Sergueï Lavrov revient sur la propagande du lobby LGBT qui se confond de plus en plus avec celle des intérêts diplomatiques occidentaux – quitte à leur nuire voire choquer ouvertement les pays étrangers, notamment quand l’ambassade des Etats-Unis au Vatican se permet d’arborer le drapeau LGBT sur sa façade. C’est aussi le cas des ambassades américaine, britannique et canadienne en Russie, nonobstant le fait que la propagande du lobby gay et même l’affichage de ses symboles est très mal vue dans l’opinion russe et qu’il n’est pas très productif, pour l’avancement des intérêts des pays précités en Russie, de braquer l’opinion publique.

Pro-Life Catholic Democrat Dan Lipinski Supports Clarity From US Bishops on ‘Eucharistic Coherence’
In an interview with the Register, the former co-chairman of the bipartisan Congressional Pro-Life Caucus also warns that both the Democratic and Republican parties are becoming ‘fundamentalist religions.’

Former U.S. Rep. Dan Lipinski, a Catholic pro-life Democrat from Illinois, is calling for clarity from the U.S. bishops in their upcoming document on the Eucharist that will include a section on worthiness to receive Communion.
Lipinski, an eight-term congressman who lost his 2020 primary to pro-abortion challenger Marie Newman after abortion groups backed her with substantial funding, believes this clarity is urgently needed amid attempts to “sow confusion” for Catholic Democratic politicians who break with Church teaching on abortion.
In a commentary he wrote for First Things magazine, Lipinski responded to a “statement of principles” 60 Catholic Democrats released following the bishops’ approval on moving forward with a document on the Eucharist, where they argued against denying the Eucharist to politicians like themselves who support “legal access to abortion.”
He spoke with the Register Tuesday about where these members of Congress were coming from and where they went wrong. He also discussed his belief that the Democratic and Republican parties have become “fundamentalist religions” in a way that is dangerous for Catholics and for the country.
What did you make of the U.S. bishops’ passionate debate on “Eucharistic coherence”? What are you hoping to see in the document that they are planning to draft?
I am very happy that they voted to go ahead to draft the document because I think that it is really needed, not just for Catholic politicians, but for all Catholics. Obviously, when 70% of Catholics say they don’t believe in the Real Presence, there is a real issue with Catholics understanding the Eucharist and reception of Holy Communion. I think it’s understandable that this got caught up into the whole political debate and people started looking at this completely as being about the politics. Everyone was looking at “Should Joe Biden be denied Communion?” But it’s much bigger and broader than that, and so it was disappointing that there is as much controversy over it as there is. But I think that it’s a teaching document, and I think it’s really needed right now.
In First Things, you mention how “poor catechesis” has led to Catholic politicians who are confused about Church teaching and abortion. How much of the Catholic Democrats’ “statement of principles,” and reactions like the tweet from California Rep. Ted Lieu “daring” the bishops to deny him Communion over abortion support, was genuine confusion about Church teaching on the matter?
I wanted to make clear in my First Things piece that you have to look at where these members are coming from and all the political pressures — all the reward, punishment on this issue, if you are a Democrat, is going to be coming from the other side.
There are rewards if you declare your support for what now has become a doctrine of the Democratic Party, an extreme pro-abortion position. If you support that, you get the benefits; and if you don’t support it, you’re risking your political career if you are a Democrat. I understood this risk. But I couldn’t give up what I truly believe is right and true and one of the things that I will be judged on in the end.
What do we have, what do the bishops have? The bishops don’t have money for campaigns or workers for campaigns, they don’t have that much influence in that way, but the bishops, the Catholic Church has the truth.
I don’t believe that anyone is choosing a political office and really wants to trade their soul. I don’t think that’s something people want. To me, it’s just a confusion over why it is that it is important as an elected official to protect life. … There’s a lot of people that like to sow that confusion and say, “Look at Catholic social teaching. It mentions a lot of other things, caring for the poor and the hungry and immigrants.” I heard it many times — that if you take care of most of those things, then you’re good. And I just always understood that I need to protect the life of the unborn and need to protect all innocent life and the other issues are very important. I know that I will be judged also on how I cared for the poor, the hungry, but when it comes to government policy, the exact amount of money that the federal government should be spending for food assistance, for example, that’s not clear [in Catholic social teaching]. But it is clear that we should be protecting unborn children in the womb and caring for their mothers.
For years as a member of Congress, I heard people talking all the time about “these are all important issues,” as they are, but I’m not exactly sure how the bishops can get across that it’s not an issue of prudential judgment whether or not we should be protecting the unborn. Prudential judgment comes down to how do we best take care of the poor, and I would have debates with colleagues of mine in Congress, Catholic colleagues, disagreements over the level of funding for some of these government programs. We didn’t agree, but I believe that these other members of Congress were coming at it from a place of really caring for the poor; but we had a different prudential judgment on how much funding should be in the budget for these programs. But just trying to continue to get across that there’s a clear line that we need to protect the unborn: There’s no question about that. It’s a Catholic doctrine of understanding that this is a human person that deserves protection.
I ran for Congress in 2004; first time I ran for political office. I ran as a Democrat, and I knew being pro-life was going to be a minority position in the party, but I knew I was always going to be pro-life and I was going to be pro-life because I truly believe that the baby in the womb is a human person who deserves protection. I learned that first as a kid when I was in Catholic school and at church, but then I also came to understand that science shows us that is a child. I never saw that I had a choice if I was going to support laws to protect that child.
In what way have the Democratic and Republican parties become their own “religions,” and how will this affect how our country operates?
It’s something that I experienced, and since I’ve lost the primary and have left office, I’ve done some writing on this topic from a couple different perspectives. From one perspective, what it means for Catholics, that Americans are now being told they have to choose either the left way, the Democratic way, or the right way, the Republican way. There’s only two ways to think [this thinking goes] — all the issues are laid out, the position that you’re supposed to take, and you need to choose one of these — and you have to subscribe to every single policy, every doctrine of these parties. That’s why the parties are becoming fundamentalist religions, and what we have is a sectarian battle going on.
From the Catholic perspective, it is dangerous because Catholics don’t fit neatly into either of these two. Catholics need to have the courage to be Catholic first and to hold on to what they have learned, what they know, as a Catholic, and to live out all of Catholic social teaching, not choose certain parts of it.
Now, when we look to the government, our system doesn’t work; our American system set up in the Constitution does not work when you have two sectarian parties. We have two parties where the two sides say, “The other side is evil; we can’t work with them, so it’s either our way or no way.” … I used to teach this all the time: Our government was set up to try to force deliberation and really talking through issues and compromise in order to come up with solutions to come up with the laws that govern our country. Right now, we don’t see any deliberation; we don’t see compromise.
Our country cannot continue on that way. We’re a very evenly divided country. I think there are a lot of issues that are not being addressed. Every once in a while, one party gets enough control to force some something through, but I don’t think it’s the best policies that are getting done when anything does get done. And like I said, a lot of things are not getting addressed. I think, for those reasons, it’s very dangerous for our country, but it’s also very dangerous for Catholics to hold on to their beliefs, their understanding of the world as a Catholic and standing up for the values that we have as Catholics, the true understanding of what justice is.
What did you make of the claim that denying Communion to pro-abortion politicians would be “weaponizing the Eucharist” on a single issue?
I understand those who have that concern, and I’ve been very careful not to try to tell the bishops what they should do and how they should teach. As a former college professor, I know that there are different methods of teaching. They need to determine here what the best method to teach Catholics about the Eucharist is. I think it’s important for everyone to go back to needing to be in a state of grace in order to receive Holy Communion. Most Catholics don’t understand that.
There’s not going to be a blanket denial. There never will be a blanket denial of Holy Communion. This document is going to be teaching Catholics, and also the bishops teaching each other, probably, about the best way to get Catholics to understand the Eucharist and what they need to be doing in order to be in a state of grace to receive Communion. I think a lot of people are looking at this through a political lens.
I believe the bishops are coming from, at least most of the bishops are coming from, the place of feeling like they need to better catechize Catholics about the Eucharist and receiving Holy Communion, and it’s not just political. And we all as Catholics need to look at what do we believe; and how do we prepare ourselves to receive Communion? It’s an issue for all of us.
President Biden has said in the past that he’s prepared to accept “on faith” that life begins at conception, but he’s not prepared to “say that” to others with a different view. What do you think of this argument?
Having come to that conclusion, I don’t see how I don’t work to protect that life if I believe that is a life, and I also believe science shows us that is a life, then it’s deserving of protection. I could not come to a different conclusion from that. Anyone else is going to have to come up with their own explanation of how they do that, but I couldn’t.
What methods do you recommend, in order to better communicate Church teachings on fundamental moral issues to Catholic politicians who break with those teachings? In your own personal experience, did you find anything to be particularly useful in changing the hearts and minds of other Catholics with whom you worked during your years of political service?
I couldn’t tell you anything that I can say I’ve seen really change hearts and minds on this. I wish I had the answer. I just think it’s always important to be clear and consistent, but there’s no guarantee. There’s nothing that I could say definitely works, but it’s important not to have anyone out there confusing the issue of abortion for Catholics.
VATICAN CITY — The Vatican announced Saturday that Cardinal Angelo Becciu will be tried on charges of embezzlement and abuse of office.
The Vatican court also announced it will hold a criminal trial against nine people and four corporations in connection with the Secretariat of State’s purchase of a London investment property.
The trial’s first hearing will take place July 27.
Among those to be tried are several employees of the Secretariat of State: Fabrizio Tirabassi, who oversaw investments, will be tried on charges of corruption, extortion, embezzlement, fraud, and abuse of office.
Mons. Mauro Carlino, who worked with Tirabassi, has been charged with extortion and abuse of office.
At the center of the trial is the Secretariat of State’s purchase of a building at 60 Sloane Avenue in London. It was bought in stages between 2014 and 2018 from Italian businessman Raffaele Mincione, who at the time was managing hundreds of millions of euros of secretariat funds.
Mincione will also stand trial on charges of embezzlement, fraud, abuse of office, misappropriation, and self-money laundering.
Businessman Gianluigi Torzi, who was brought in to broker the final negotiations of the Vatican’s purchase of the London property in 2018, has been charged with extortion, embezzlement, fraud, misappropriation, money laundering, and self-money laundering.
Enrico Crasso, who managed investments for the Vatican for over 25 years, was investigated on suspicions he was working together with Mincione and Tirabassi to defraud the Secretariat of State.
Crasso, who is the manager of the Centurion Global Fund in which the Holy See is the principal investor, faces the most charges: corruption, embezzlement, extorsion, money laundering, self-money laundering, fraud, abuse of office, falsifying a public document, and falsifying a private document.
The Vatican has also charged three corporations owned by Crasso with fraud.
Gianluigi Torzi, a businessman who worked with Mincione, will face trial on charges of extortion, embezzlement, fraud, misappropriation, money laundering, and self-money laundering.
His associate, the lawyer Nicola Squillace, faces the same charges minus extortion.
Torzi was arrested by Vatican officials last year, and held for a little over a week, as part of the financial investigation. He was also arrested in London on May 11 at the request of a judge in Rome. His bail was set at $1.6 million.
The Italian businessman acted as a commission-earning middleman for the Secretariat of State as it finalized its purchase of the London property, on which it spent approximately $300 million.
Torzi brokered the sale, reportedly earning 10 million euros for his role in the final stage of the deal.
Mons. Alberto Perlasca, Becciu‘s former chief deputy at the Secretariat of State, was also investigated as part of the London property scandal, but is not among the defendants in this summer’s trial.
According to the Vatican communication, in the course of investigations, which began in July 2019, “elements also emerged against Card. Giovanni Angelo Becciu, against whom we proceed, as required by law, for the offenses of embezzlement and abuse of office also in cooperation, as well as subornation.”
A date is not given for the trial against Cardinal Becciu.
Cardinal Becciu resigned as prefect of the congregation and from the rights extended to members of the College of Cardinals on Sept. 24, 2020.
The cardinal worked previously as the number two-ranking official in the Vatican’s Secretariat of State, the powerful curial department at the center of the investigation of financial malfeasance.
The financial trial will also include Cecilia Marogna, a self-described security consultant, who has been charged with embezzlement after a Vatican investigation into reports that she received hundreds of thousands of euros from the Vatican’s Secretariat of State in connection with Becciu, and that she had spent the money on luxury goods and vacations.
Marogna acknowledged receiving the money but insisted that the funds went to her Vatican security consultancy work and salary.
The 39-year-old woman from Sardinia, was arrested in Milan last year on an international warrant issued by the Vatican through Interpol. She was released from jail after 17 days and an extradition request by the Vatican was dropped in January.
Marogna’s Slovenian-based company, Logsic Humanitarne Dejavnosti, D.O.O., is also being brought to trial on the charge of embezzlement.
The last two defendants are René Brülhart and Tommaso Di Ruzza, who previously led the Vatican’s internal financial watchdog, ASIF.
Di Ruzza was replaced last year after completing his five-year term of office, according to the Vatican.
Brülhart left ASIF in November 2019. A Vatican statement at the time said that Brülhart was leaving at the end of his five-year term, but the Swiss lawyer told Reuters that he had resigned from the post.
Di Ruzza was one of five employees and officials suspended and blocked from entering the Vatican after Vatican gendarmes raided the Secretariat of State and ASIF offices on Oct. 1, 2019.
Later that month, the ASIF’s board of directors issued a statement expressing “full faith and trust in the professional competence and honorability” of Di Ruzza, but no announcement was ever made by Vatican authorities regarding the results of any investigation into Di Ruzza or his return to work.
Di Ruzza is charged with embezzlement, abuse of office, and violation of confidentiality.
Truth in the Womb: What ‘Pro-Choice’ Catholic Democrats Fail to Understand
COMMENTARY: The ‘statement of principles’ the Misguided 60 have written only goes to prove that they’re not only on the wrong side of the Catholic faith — they’re on the wrong side of history.

As a mainstream journalist and former pro-choice feminist who searched most of my life for the truth and found it at last in the Person of Christ in the Catholic Church, I am deeply disturbed by the so-called “statement of principles” 60 pro-abortion Democrats have released as our bishops consider how to handle the scandal of pro-abortion politicians presenting themselves for Communion. How dare these self-proclaimed Catholic politicians attempt to redefine the faith to further their political ambitions according to their own misunderstandings of what it means to be human.
Do they not realize that Christ (God himself) came into the world as an embryo? Do they not realize the early Church Fathers from the very first centuries of Christianity condemned abortion as murder? Do they not realize when they advocate and promote the killing of the baby in the womb that they are standing in the place of Pilate (asking, “What is truth?”) and are thereby crucifying the image of Christ all over again?
I want to tell these very misguided politicians that legalized abortion is the true “war on women,” and from the very first day abortion was inserted into the National Organization for Women’s “Bill of Rights” in 1967 by a mere 57 people, noble pro-life Christian feminists have been fighting nonstop to reverse this horrible error.
I want to tell these deluded, self-defined Catholic politicians that Roe v. Wade, written in part by Supreme Court Justice Harry Blackmun (another extremely misguided Christian), is a disastrously flawed document that denies that the little baby in the womb is already an ensouled person — and that’s why this disastrous court decision continues to divide our nation. Truth unites, and what do lies do? They divide us. They rip us apart.
I want to tell these extremely misguided, misinformed politicians that they’re trusting in and have been deceived by a reduced anthropology. Contemporary discussions of human life almost always speak of the human being in biological, sociological, economic or psychological terms. They fail to understand that the whole human person, called from nothingness into being by God, cannot be diced and sliced into pieces and is far greater than the sum of his or her parts.
For nearly 20 years, I wrote for Cosmopolitan magazine and told lies to single young women about how “happy” we would all be if we would only have spontaneous sex outside of marriage and then abort any baby who happened to come along to ruin our fun. So I, too, am a public sinner who led many people astray, and I should not be the first one to throw stones. But (praise God!), as a Catholic convert, I have found peace and joy in repentance, and I now know that’s the only way for our nation to move forward.
I therefore strongly urge these very misguided politicians to set aside their transient political ambitions and to embrace a higher eternal purpose, to stop trying to change Christ’s teachings, and to defend truth in the womb. This “statement of principles” the Misguided 60 have written only goes to prove that they’re not only on the wrong side of the Catholic faith — they’re on the wrong side of history, for the Lord sent his followers “into the world” to witness to the truth. En 2020, nous avons assisté à la consécration du techno-féodalisme – l’un des thèmes principaux de mon dernier livre, « Raging Twenties ».
À la vitesse de l’éclair, le virus du techno-féodalisme se métastase en un variant désert de miroirs encore plus mortel, où la culture de l’annulation est imposée par Big Tech sur tout le spectre, où la science est régulièrement dévalorisée en tant que fake news dans les médias sociaux, et où le citoyen moyen est déconfit jusqu’à la lobotomie.
Alastair Crooke, analyste politique de premier plan, a tenté de décomposer avec précision la configuration générale.
Géopolitiquement, l’hégémon aurait même recours à la guerre de la 5G pour maintenir sa primauté, tout en cherchant une légitimation morale via la révolution woke, dûment exportée dans ses satrapies occidentales.
La révolution woke est une guerre culturelle – en symbiose avec Big Tech et Big Business – qui a écrasé la vraie chose : la guerre des classes. Les classes ouvrières atomisées, qui luttent pour survivre, ont été laissées à l’abandon dans l’anomie.
La grande panacée, en réalité l’ultime « opportunité » offerte par le Covid-19, est la Grande Réinitialisation avancée par Herr Schwab de Davos : le remplacement d’une base manufacturière en déclin par l’automatisation, en tandem avec une réinitialisation du système financier.
Les vœux pieux concomitants envisagent une économie mondiale qui « se rapprochera d’un modèle capitaliste plus propre ». L’une de ses composantes est un Conseil pour un Capitalisme inclusif, délicieusement bienveillant, en partenariat avec l’Église catholique.
Autant la pandémie – « l’opportunité » de la Réinitialisation – a été en quelque sorte répétée par l’Événement 201 en octobre 2019, autant des stratégies supplémentaires sont déjà en place pour les prochaines étapes, comme le Cyber Polygone, qui met en garde contre les « risques clés de la numérisation ». Ne manquez pas leur « exercice technique » du 9 juillet, où « les participants affineront leurs compétences pratiques pour atténuer une attaque ciblée de la chaîne d’approvisionnement sur un écosystème d’entreprise en temps réel ».
Un Nouveau Concert des Puissances ?
La souveraineté est une menace mortelle pour la révolution culturelle en cours. Cela concerne le rôle des institutions de l’Union européenne – en particulier la Commission européenne – qui ne reculent devant rien pour dissoudre les intérêts nationaux des États-nations. Et cela explique en grande partie la militarisation, à des degrés divers, de la russophobie, de la sinophobie et de l’iranophobie.
L’essai phare de « Raging Twenties » analyse les enjeux en Eurasie exactement en termes d’hégémon opposé aux Trois Souverains que sont la Russie, la Chine et l’Iran.
C’est dans ce cadre, par exemple, qu’un projet de loi massif de plus de 270 pages, le Strategic Competition Act, a été récemment adopté par le Sénat américain. Cette loi va bien au-delà de la concurrence géopolitique et trace une feuille de route pour combattre la Chine sur tous les fronts. Il ne peut que devenir une loi, la sinophobie étant un sport bipartisan à Washington.
Les oracles de l’hégémon, tels que l’éternel Henry Kissinger, font au moins une pause dans leurs manigances habituelles « Diviser pour Régner » pour avertir que l’escalade de la concurrence « sans fin » pourrait dérailler en une guerre chaude – surtout si l’on tient compte de l’IA et des dernières générations d’armes intelligentes.
Sur l’incandescent front américano-russe, où le ministre des Affaires étrangères Sergueï Lavrov considère que le manque de confiance mutuelle, sans parler de respect, est bien pire que pendant la Guerre froide, l’analyste Glenn Diesen note comment l’hégémon « s’efforce de convertir la dépendance sécuritaire des Européens en loyauté géoéconomique ».
C’est au cœur d’une saga qui va se jouer sur le fil du rasoir : Nord Stream 2. L’hégémon utilise toutes les armes – notamment la guerre culturelle, où l’escroc Navalny est un pion important – pour faire échouer un accord énergétique essentiel pour les intérêts industriels de l’Allemagne. Simultanément, la pression s’accroît pour que l’Europe n’achète pas de technologies chinoises.
Pendant ce temps, l’OTAN, qui domine l’UE, continue d’être érigée en Robocop mondial, via le projet OTAN 2030, même après avoir transformé la Libye en un terrain vague où règnent les milices et après avoir reçu une fessée collective humiliante en Afghanistan.
Malgré tout le bruit et la fureur de l’hystérie des sanctions et les déclinaisons de la guerre culturelle, l’establishment hégémonique n’est pas totalement aveugle au fait que l’Occident « perd non seulement sa domination matérielle mais aussi son emprise idéologique ».
Ainsi, le Council on Foreign Relations – dans une sorte de gueule de bois bismarckienne – propose maintenant un Nouveau Concert des Puissances pour faire face au « populisme en colère » et aux « tentations illibérales », menées bien sûr par ces acteurs maléfiques tels que la « Russie pugnace » qui osent « défier l’autorité de l’Occident ».
Bien que cette proposition géopolitique puisse être formulée dans une rhétorique bénigne, le but final reste le même : « restaurer le leadership américain », selon les termes des États-Unis. Au diable ces « illibéraux » que sont la Russie, la Chine et l’Iran.
Crooke évoque précisément un exemple russe et un exemple chinois pour illustrer où peut mener la révolution culturelle woke.
Dans le cas de la révolution culturelle chinoise, le résultat final a été le chaos, fomenté par les gardes rouges, qui ont commencé à provoquer leurs propres ravages indépendamment de la direction du Parti communiste.
Et puis il y a Dostoïevski dans « Les Possédés », qui a montré comment les libéraux russes laïques des années 1840 ont créé les conditions de l’émergence de la génération des années 1860 : des radicaux idéologiques décidés à mettre le feu à la maison.
Pas de doute : les « révolutions » mangent toujours leurs enfants. Cela commence généralement par une élite dirigeante qui impose ses nouvelles Formes platoniques aux autres. Rappelez-vous Robespierre. Il a formulé sa politique d’une manière très platonicienne – « la jouissance paisible de la liberté et de l’égalité, le règne de la justice éternelle » avec des lois « gravées dans le cœur de tous les hommes ».
Eh bien, lorsque d’autres n’étaient pas d’accord avec la vision de la vertu de Robespierre, nous savons tous ce qui s’est passé : la Terreur. Tout comme Platon, d’ailleurs, l’a recommandé dans « Les Lois ». Il est donc juste de s’attendre à ce que les enfants de la révolution woke soient finalement dévorés vivants par leur zèle.
Annulation de la liberté d’expression
En l’état actuel des choses, il est juste de se demander quand « l’Occident » a commencé à sérieusement mal tourner – dans le sens d’une culture de l’annulation. Permettez-moi d’offrir le point de vue cynique/stoïque d’un nomade mondial du XXIe siècle.
Si nous avons besoin d’une date, commençons par Rome – l’incarnation de l’Occident – au début du Ve siècle. Suivez l’argent. C’est l’époque où les revenus des propriétés des temples sont transférés à l’Église catholique, ce qui renforce son pouvoir économique. À la fin du siècle, les dons aux temples ont même été interdits.
En parallèle, une surenchère de destruction était en cours – alimentée par l’iconoclasme chrétien, allant des croix gravées sur des statues païennes jusqu’aux bains publics convertis en églises. Se baigner nu ? Quelle horreur !
La dévastation est impressionnante. L’une des rares survivantes fut la fabuleuse statue en bronze de Marc-Aurèle à cheval, dans le Campidoglio/Capitole (aujourd’hui, elle se trouve au musée). La statue n’a survécu que parce que les foules pieuses ont cru que l’empereur représenté était Constantin.
Le tissu urbain même de Rome a été détruit : les rituels, le sens de la communauté, le chant et la danse. Rappelez-vous que les gens baissent encore la voix en entrant dans une église.
Pendant des siècles, nous n’avons pas entendu les voix des dépossédés. Une exception flagrante se trouve dans un texte du début du VIe siècle d’un philosophe athénien, cité par Ramsay MacMullen dans « Chrétienté et Paganisme du IVe au VIIIe siècle ».
Le philosophe grec écrit que les chrétiens sont « une race dissoute dans toutes les passions, détruite par une auto-indulgence contrôlée, rampante et féminine dans sa pensée, proche de la lâcheté, se vautrant dans toutes les bassesses, avilie, se contentant de la servitude dans la sécurité ».
Si cela ressemble à une proto-définition de la culture de l’annulation occidentale du XXIe siècle, c’est parce que c’est le cas.
La situation était également assez mauvaise à Alexandrie. Une foule chrétienne a tué et démembré la séduisante Hypatie, mathématicienne et philosophe. Cela a mis fin de facto à l’ère des grandes mathématiques grecques. Il n’est pas étonnant que Gibbon ait fait de l’assassinat d’Hypatie une pièce maîtresse de son ouvrage « Déclin et chute de l’Empire romain » (« Dans la fleur de sa beauté et dans la maturité de sa sagesse, la modeste jeune fille refusait ses amants et instruisait ses disciples ; les personnes les plus illustres par leur rang ou leur mérite étaient impatientes de rendre visite à la femme philosophe »).
Sous Justinien – empereur de 527 à 565 – la culture de l’annulation s’est attaquée sans retenue au Paganisme. L’une de ses lois mettait fin à la tolérance impériale de toutes les religions et était en vigueur depuis Constantin en 313.
Si vous étiez païen, il valait mieux vous préparer à la peine de mort. Les enseignants païens – en particulier les philosophes – étaient interdits. Ils perdaient leur parrhesia : leur licence pour enseigner (voici la brillante analyse de Foucault).
La parrhesia – traduit librement par « critique franche » – est une question extrêmement sérieuse : pendant pas moins de mille ans, c’était la définition de la liberté d’expression.
Et voilà : la première moitié du VIe siècle. C’est à cette époque que la liberté d’expression a été annulée en Occident.
Le dernier temple égyptien – à Isis, dans une île du sud de l’Égypte – a été fermé en 526. La légendaire Académie de Platon – après pas moins de 900 ans d’enseignement – a été fermée à Athènes en 529.

C’était l’époque – au début du IIe siècle – où le plus grand stoïcien, Épictète, esclave affranchi de Phrygie, admirateur de Socrate et de Diogène, était consulté par un empereur, Hadrien, et devenait le modèle d’un autre empereur, Marc Aurèle.
L’histoire nous apprend que la tradition intellectuelle grecque ne s’est tout simplement pas éteinte en Occident. Elle a fait l’objet d’une culture de l’annulation.
