L’immunité collective post-injection pseudo-vaccinale anti-Covid par GERARD DELEPINE

Actuellement tous les membres du gouvernement et les médias nous promettent qu’on sera débarrassé du Covid et qu’on retrouvera nos libertés dès que nous serons tous vaccinés grâce à l’immunité collective. Avant de les croire, vérifions les faits avérés dans le monde réel.

Quatre grands pays (GB, Israël, Chili, Seychelles) et un mini état (Gibraltar), champions de la vaccination, constituent les modèles de « réussite vaccinale » avec plus de 60 % de leurs populations vaccinées et un recul moyen de six mois.

L’examen de leur situation sanitaire Covid19 basé sur les données de l’OMS et OurWorldinData permet de mesurer objectivement l’effet d’une couverture vaccinale élevée.

Explosion post-vaccinale des contaminations et de la mortalité à Gibraltar

À Gibraltar, la vaccination a commencé en décembre 2020, et a inclus les visiteurs espagnols permettant d’atteindre un taux de couverture vaccinale de 115 %.

Six mois après cette vaccination les chiffres officiels de l’OMS objectivent une explosion des contaminations (multiplié par 4) et des morts attribuées au Covid19 (multipliées par 19).

Les autorités sanitaires qui ont organisé la campagne de vaccination prétendent qu’il n’y a aucune relation de cause à effet sans donner la moindre explication alternative.

Situation très préoccupante aux Seychelles depuis la vaccination

L’archipel de près de 100 000 habitants avait été presque entièrement épargné par l’épidémie avant la campagne de vaccination qui a commencé en janvier 2021. Champion africain de la vaccination, il compte actuellement près de 70 % de sa population entièrement vaccinée et doit faire face depuis à une situation sanitaire incontrôlée.

Selon l’agence de presse des Seychelles, un tiers des cas actifs impliquait des personnes entièrement vaccinées. Les autres avaient reçu une seule dose ou alors n’étaient pas encore vaccinées.

En réponse à cette flambée de l’épidémie, l’archipel a durci les mesures. Les écoles sont fermées, les réunions entre membres de foyers différents ne sont plus autorisées et le télétravail est fortement encouragé. De plus, les bars, restaurants et commerces doivent désormais fermer plus tôt le soir et les activités sportives sont annulées.

Le couvre-feu à 23 heures reste quant à lui toujours d’actualité. La ministre de la Santé Peggy Vidot parle même d’une « situation critique ». La saison touristique 2021 est maintenant fortement compromise.

La victoire à la Pyrrhus britannique

Il est de bon ton dans les médias de prétendre que les résultats de la vaccination sont excellents en Grande-Bretagne champion européen de l’Astra Zeneca. Pourtant curieusement les données de l’OMS et de OurWorldinData montrent le contraire.

En effet, les contaminations et la mortalité ont fortement augmenté pendant les trois mois post-vaccination cumulant autant de morts attribuées au Covid-19 que les dix mois précédents.

De même, la vaccination a été suivie d’une forte hausse des contaminations journalières

Avant la vaccination au 7/12/2020, après dix mois d’épidémie la Grande-Bretagne recensait 1 753 599 cas confirmés contre 4 828 467 aujourd’hui (+175 %)

Et si une certaine diminution des contaminations, transitoire en mars et début avril a fait espérer que le vaccin protégerait l’avenir, l’apparition d’un variant a fait disparaître cet espoir avec reprise forte des contaminations depuis début juin.

Le 2 juillet l’incidence des nouveaux cas confirmés dépassait les 20 000 cas

 représentant le chiffre le plus élevé depuis le 2 février 21.

Cette évolution montre qu’après une forte poussée de mortalité et de contamination post vaccinale précoce, les vaccins ne protègent pas d’une récidive de l’épidémie.

La catastrophe chilienne malgré une vaccination très large

Le Chili est le champion sud-américain de la vaccination, avec près des deux tiers de la population vaccinée. La campagne de vaccination contre le coronavirus a commencé vendredi 24 décembre et au 25 juin 2021, un total de 21 966 892 doses a été administré.

Mais cette vaccination a été suivie malgré des confinements récidivants par une forte hausse, tant des contaminations que de la mortalité.

La mortalité hebdomadaire a été multipliée par 2,5 depuis la vaccination et ne paraît pas devoir diminuer malgré une reprise des confinements.

Dans ce pays, on peut réellement parler de catastrophe vaccinale. Il faut espérer que les autorités sanitaires sauront sortir du dogme vaccinal et recommanderont enfin les traitements précoces qui ont été utilisés avec succès en Inde et au Mexique (entre autres).

Le faux succès d’Israël

Israël est le champion moyen-oriental du vaccin Pfizer. En termes de personnes vaccinées, le succès de la campagne de vaccination est indéniable avec 63 % de la population israélienne qui auraient reçu au moins une dose de vaccin.

Mais du point de vue médical, c’est un échec.

La vaccination commencée le 19 décembre 2020 a été suivie d’une augmentation considérable des contaminations journalières, dépassant les pics de la vague précédente malgré un confinement strict.

En novembre 2020, 18 000 nouveaux cas confirmés avaient été enregistrés. Les mois de janvier (218 000 cas) et février (134 000 cas) ont établi les records mensuels de contaminations depuis le début de l’épidémie.

Le 18 décembre 2020 (veille du début de la vaccination), après dix mois d’épidémie Israël comptait 366 000 cas confirmés. Les sept mois suivant la vaccination ont fait passer ce nombre à 842 218.

Cette période post vaccinale a aussi été marquée par une mortalité sans précédent.

Les avocats de la vaccination prétendent que cette augmentation ne serait pas due à la vaccination, mais seulement à la coïncidence malencontreuse de la survenue d’une flambée épidémique. Mais comment une poussée au hasard surviendrait avec le même délai dans tous les pays qui vaccinent beaucoup ?

Et, comme en Grande-Bretagne, après une accalmie transitoire, on observe actuellement une reprise de l’épidémie depuis la mi-juin

L’autre argument traditionnel des pro vaccins est que la vaccination n’aurait pas eu le temps d’agir, mais les exemples du Chili et des Émirats Arabes Unis montrent que même six mois après le début de la vaccination, le nombre de contaminations hebdomadaires reste plus élevé qu’avant vaccination.

Conclusions

Dans tous les pays champions de la vaccination, celles-ci ont été suivies d’une augmentation considérable des contaminations et de la mortalité pendant 8 à 24 semaines.

Les accalmies de 2 à 3 mois qui ont parfois suivi ne témoignent pas d’une immunité vaccinale, puisqu’autant en Grande-Bretagne qu’en Israël, on assiste à des reprises de l’épidémie par les variants que la vaccination a favorisés.

Espérons que la raison reviendra aux dirigeants pour qu’ils arrêtent cette course insensée à la vaccination pour une épidémie peu létale, sauf pour une petite minorité de la population, et pratiquement terminée en France. Les dramatiques effets secondaires de ces injections en essai thérapeutique jusqu’en 2023 sont un élément de plus qui devrait rendre les prescripteurs prudents sur ce gigantesque essai mondial.

The Delta Variant, the unvaccinated, the two Americas, and other propaganda fabrications

There is no Delta Variant. Because there is nothing to vary FROM. In other words, as I’ve been proving for more than a year, SARS-CoV-2 doesn’t exist. But the vaccine establishment and public health officials are pumping up the Delta hoax in order to convince more people to take the highly dangerous RNA COVID vaccines (genetic treatments). Their narrative is a threat: in unvaccinated pockets, the Delta percolates and then breaks out, infecting many…followed by a further spread into communities of the vaccinated, where… It can infect even those people. Gibberish. Every covert op starts out with a goal, an objective. Then an action-plan for achieving the goal. Then, the story that will be told to make it seem as if the unfolding actions are “responses to actual events in real time.” The story about the Delta Variant, for example—from the beginning of the fake pandemic, tales of Variants were always part of the plan, in order to move closer to the goal of universal vaccination. “When we see the scale of the resistance against vaccination, we’ll give them a Variant narrative, to induce more people to take the shot.” “Right. We’ll say the Variant is more deadly and contagious than the original form of the virus.” Another current element of propaganda: “we now have two Americas; the states with high rates of vaccination and those with low rates; this divide is intolerable; we can’t allow it.” Why not? If millions of ignorant people insist on taking the destructive injection, and a smaller number refuse, and you have bordering states with vastly different vaccination policies and rates, then people have a choice. Live in state A or B. But choice is not what the establishment wants. THAT’s why they whine and moan and warn about two Americas. And from the beginning of the op, they knew there would be states with very different vaccination rates—and they knew they would be warning against it. But wait. There’s more. The propaganda describes people/areas where the vaccination rates are low as: uneducated and Republican, or “people of color.” All along, the planning involved special targeting of these groups. Demonizing the “uneducated Republicans,” and sympathizing with “people of color” as victims of disinformation. “You blacks and Hispanics, it’s not your fault you believe the vaccine is dangerous. White anti-vaxxer Devils have been telling you lies.” The total sum of all this propaganda? “We don’t want to, but in order to save the nation, we may have to institute mandated vaccination.” The technical term is “layers of bullshit.” In case you’ve missed the last 10,000 years of human history, political leaders have always called for Unity. It’s been their basic con. Dissent and freedom of speech have always been afterthoughts, as far as these elitists are concerned. Therefore, “some people vaccinated and some people unvaccinated” has nothing to do with science (especially since, as I’ve described in dozens of articles, the whole immunization hypothesis is a rank fake). Rather, it has to do with disunity. “We can’t have division. It would destroy the foundation of this great nation. We must censor dissent from the artificial consensus.” “Science” is a basic weapon for canceling and burning the 1st Amendment: “We know what is true. So we don’t need to permit debate. It’s time-consuming, useless, distracting, and harmful. To be generous, we could say people have a right to be wrong, but why bother?” Phalanxes of overgrown children emerging from colleges without a clue about logic or investigation have a special need to assert the value of their education. They fulfill this need by demanding everyone must follow the (unthinking) science they’ve mastered. A minor obstacle like the 1st Amendment can be brushed aside as out of date. “People used to have a right to argue in the old days, before the truth was established.” The COVID narrative, from 2019 up to this moment, was planned. The art of propaganda involves making that narrative seem as if it’s composed of in-the-moment responses to unanticipated reactions of the public. And the plan doesn’t require genius or even extensive data collection and profiling. Any reasonably intelligent person could sketch it out on a napkin during lunch. Why? Because a hundred years of Rockefeller Germ Theory and vaccination lies have tuned up the population to respond to words like “outbreak” and “epidemic” in predictable ways.

Is Tradition Rigid?

Although Pope Francis has a global reputation as a humble, gentle pastor, those who follow him closely know he’s not averse to handing out strong criticisms when he sees fit, including throwing out insults at times to fellow Catholics. And no insult is more central to his repertoire than the term “rigid.” For Pope Francis, to be rigid is to be the worst kind of Catholic. What does it mean to be “rigid,” at least according to the pope? To be consumed with upholding tradition. 

For those with a surface familiarity with the Gospels, this might appear logical: after all, Our Lord often attacked the Jewish religious leaders of his time for following the “traditions of men,” which led them to put their traditions above the real spiritual needs of the people. As a former Protestant, I find this interpretation odd, even bizarre, coming from the head of the Roman Catholic Church. It sounds like the typical Protestant interpretation of the New Testament, with all its anti-Catholicism baked in. This view dates back to Martin Luther himself: Catholics are like the rigid Pharisees, clinging to the traditions of men, while Protestants are free, just as Jesus commanded and Paul lived out after his conversion.

Yet a full understanding of Catholicism reveals a deeper understanding of tradition than the caricature concocted by Luther and his followers. Catholics have embraced, not denigrated, tradition since the very beginning. St. Paul himself wrote to the Christians in Thessalonica: “So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter” (2 Thess. 2:15). And to the Church in Corinth, he wrote, “I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I have delivered them to you” (1 Cor. 11:2). Clearly the Apostle had no issues with embracing at least some traditions.

The Early Church continued this, well, tradition, of embracing tradition. St. Irenaeus, a 2nd century Church Father, noted that the Gnostic heretics who were threatening the Church rejected tradition, unlike the Catholics: “But, again, when we refer them to that tradition which originates from the apostles, [and] which is preserved by means of the succession of presbyters in the Churches, they object to tradition, saying that they themselves are wiser not merely than the presbyters, but even than the apostles, because they have discovered the unadulterated truth.” (Against Heresies, Book 3, Chapter 2).  Advertisement – Continue Reading Below

To be Catholic is to be traditional. In fact, even though I call myself a “traditional Catholic,” I know the term is redundant—it’s like calling oneself a “male man” (although these days maybe that’s necessary). Every religion—including every Protestant denomination—follows certain traditions, but Catholics understand that its traditions are guided by the Holy Spirit—the Spirit of Truth which guides us (over time) into all truth (cf. John 16:13). 

Imagine the life of faith as taking a drive on a long, winding road up a steep hill. There are precarious turns throughout, which if not navigated properly could lead you to plummet over the edge to your demise. In this analogy, tradition is the guardrail on the side of the road, protecting one from falling into heresy or schism. Without these guardrails, we are likely to plunge to our (spiritual) deaths.

The idea that a Catholic embracing tradition qua tradition makes him “rigid” is thus nonsensical. We are supposed to embrace tradition. Now, that’s not to say there aren’t dangers with traditions; after all, Our Lord did warn against a certain type of tradition: the “traditions of men.”  Advertisement – Continue Reading Below

What are the traditions of men? Paradoxically, in today’s world these traditions are the latest zeitgeist—whatever modern man says we must embrace. Abortion, homosexuality, contraception, gender confusion: these are the traditions of men, because they “transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition” (Matthew 15:3), as Our Lord said. By putting human wisdom in the form of pseudo-science and moral degeneracy above divine commandments, we create traditions of men. This is what Christ warned against, and yet we see many Church leaders falling into the same trap as the Pharisees by elevating these human traditions over the revealed will of God. 

Further, those who advocate these modern traditions of men are the most “rigid” among us. Think about what happens to the public figure who dares use the wrong pronouns or doesn’t fully support Pride Month: the Pharisees of the Left will be sure to crucify him. This rigidity impacts the Church as well: see how our bishops treat any priest who dares step away from the rigid woke party line, such as Fr. James Altman or Fr. James Parker, to just name two recent examples.

Embracing true tradition—Sacred Tradition—has rigidity’s opposite effect; it frees one to follow the Holy Spirit. Instead of chasing after the latest faddish beliefs and trying to emulate contemporary culture, the Catholic who follows tradition has a solid foundation on which to build his faith life. He can go deeper into the mysteries of salvation through the traditional Latin Mass, for example. Or he can plumb the depths of great spiritual masters like St. Teresa of Avila or St. John of the Cross. Or he can learn from the great intellectual giants like St. Thomas Aquinas. Tradition, not following the whims of the world, brings freedom and liberty.

Tradition also brings clarity. Many of the debates we have in today’s Church, such as whether pro-abortion politicians can receive Holy Communion, are actually simple yes/no questions when examined in light of tradition. Of course Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi shouldn’t receive Communion. We don’t need a USCCB document to tell us that—we can just look back to what our forefathers in the Faith did and said. 

Pope Francis wants to castigate those love who tradition as rigid. But he would do well to remember that Sacred Tradition is a bedrock of the Catholic Faith (and in fact, the bedrock of his papal office). To embrace tradition is to be free to follow the Holy Spirit. To reject it is to be a slave to the rigid whims of this fallen world.

Alors que le gouvernement français vient de perdre toute légitimité populaire lors de la dernière consultation électorale (le Pouvoir ne s’appuie plus que sur une infime minorité populaire inférieure à 10 %), il accélère le processus de vaccination générale. Des textes sont actuellement en cours d’étude par les parlementaires pour rendre la vaccination obligatoire :

• Covid : Castex ouvre le débat sur une obligation vaccinale large .

Why Would Anyone Want To Raise A Family In The Midst Of The Extreme Violence That Is Happening In Our Major Cities? Posted: 04 Jul 2021 08:34 PM PDT Things were bad in the 1970s and 1980s, but what we are witnessing now is truly frightening.  According to the New York Times, homicide rates in large U.S. cities were up by an average of 30 percent in 2020, and they are up another 24 percent so far in 2021.  We have never seen this sort of a surge in such a short period of time in our entire history, and this is one of the reasons why so many Americans have been moving out of our core urban areas in recent months.  At this point, you would have to be insane to actually want to raise a family in many of our largest cities, because nobody is truly safe in this environment.  For example, a one-month-old girl was just shot in the head during “another mass shooting” in the Windy City… A 1-month-old baby girl was shot in the head during another mass shooting in Chicago. At least seven people were wounded in the shooting, which happened Thursday night in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood.Three gunmen jumped out of a black Jeep Cherokee around 8:15 p.m. Thursday. The armed assailants “began shooting in several directions” in the 6500 block of South Halsted Street, according to Chicago police. The gunmen got back in the SUV and fled the crime scene. As I have discussed previously, mass shootings have become so commonplace now that each one barely makes a blip in the news before the next one happens. And way too often, kids end up getting killed during these incidents. Today, I was stunned to learn that a total of 172 children have been shot in the city of Chicago alone so far this year… According to Chicago police, 172 children have been shot and 25 kids have been murdered so far this year. As some pray for the violence to end, they are also calling for an end to the code of silence they say often perpetuates crime. 172 children in just one city! The rest of the world is horrified at what we have become. If you are trying to raise a family in the city of Chicago, I urge you to get out while you still can. Of course other major cities are not that much better.  In the 1970s and 1980s, there were parts of New York City where it was simply not safe for a woman to go for a walk alone at night.  Conditions were better for the next few decades, and that lulled a lot of people into a false sense of security.  Unfortunately, predators have now returned in very large numbers, and women are being attacked quite frequently.  Right now, the NYPD is asking for help in identifying a man that just viciously attacked one 35-year-old woman from behind… According to police, the victim, described as a 35-year-old woman, was taking an evening walk on a hot summer evening when a man began following her.She noticed the stranger’s presence behind her and turned from Morgan Avenue to Stagg Street, but the man continued to trail her, as seen in surveillance video released by the NYPD on Thursday.Footage shows the unidentified attacker break into a run and jump on the victim from behind, causing her to lose her footing and fall forward. The good news is that this particular woman was not seriously hurt, but countless others are being raped. People need to understand that times have changed.  At one time, women could wander the streets of many of our large cities fairly safely at night, but these days predators are seemingly everywhere. In addition to ordinary crime, we are also seeing a very alarming rise in political violence.  When there is some sort of controversial incident in the news, the location where it happened can become a magnet for protesters from both sides, and way too often confrontations between the two sides can result in violence. For example, recently there was an incident at a spa in southern California that involved indecent exposure, and because the person in question is transgender it made headlines all over the nation.  On Saturday, protesters from both sides of the political spectrum showed up outside the spa, and before too long violence erupted… Another video shows a mob of people clad in dark clothes and masks, some wearing vests bearing the word “PRESS,” mocking and chasing a man down the street. He can be seen wearing a T-shirt that reads “Obey Jesus.” He is punched from behind at least once, and subsequent photos show him with blood running down his face and chest. Lettre de soutien du pape François au jésuite gay-friendly James Martin par Francesca de Villasmundo

Au moment où en Italie se profile l’adoption d’une loi interdisant toute forme de contestation de l’homosexualité et des mœurs inverties qui a fait se lever contre les évêques italiens au nom de la « liberté de l’Eglise » garantie par le concordat, à l’occasion du ‘webinaire’ arc-en-ciel Outreach LGBTQ Catholic Ministry 2021, qui s’est tenu le 28 juin dernier, le pape François envoie une lettre de soutien au jésuite américain James Martin, promoteur de cet ‘webinaire’ et connu pour ses positions et son militantisme en faveur des droits lgbtqi+, et son investissement au sein de la communauté gay.

Petit retour en arrière : il y a quelques jours, la Secrétairerie d’État du Vatican a remis une note à l’État italien dans laquelle elle redoute une violation du Concordat si le projet de loi sur « l’homotransphobie » du député Zan, activiste lgbtqi+ du Parti Démocrate italien, était adopté car il limiterait la liberté de l’Église d’exposer publiquement sa doctrine sur l’homosexualité, y compris l’interdiction de sa reconnaissance légale par l’autorité publique. Le Vatican se plaint que « certains contenus actuels de la proposition législative en cours d’examen au Sénat réduisent la liberté garantie à l’Église catholique par l’article 2, paragraphes 1 et 3 de l’accord de révision du Concordat ». Pour le dicastère de la Curie romaine, la Secrétairerie d’Etat, qui assiste le plus étroitement le Pape dans le gouvernement de l’Église, le projet de loi Zan viole donc l’Accord de 1984.

Et voilà que quelques jours plus tard, une lettre du Pape François au Père Martin vient contredire l’intervention de la Secrétairerie d’Etat envers l’Italie, invitant chaleureusement le Père Martin à poursuivre son engagement pastoral qui inclut la reconnaissance des droits LGBT. Dieu « s’approche avec amour de chacun de ses enfants, de chacun d’eux. Son cœur est ouvert à tous et à tous. Il est Père » écrit Jorge Maria Bergoglio dans cette courte lettre autographe en espagnol adressée au père jésuite qui exerce son ‘apostolat’ auprès des personnes LGBT. « Je veux vous remercier pour votre zèle pastoral et votre capacité à être proche des gens », lui écrit encore le pape France, « avec la proximité que Jésus avait, et qui reflète la proximité de Dieu ». « En pensant à votre travail pastoral », continue le jésuite argentin au jésuite américain « je vois que vous cherchez continuellement à imiter ce style de Dieu. Tu es prêtre pour tous, comme Dieu est Père pour tous ». « Le « style » de Dieu comporte trois éléments : la proximité, la compassion et la tendresse », continue-t-il. « C’est ainsi qu’il se rapproche de chacun de nous. »

James Martin ne s’est pas fait prier pour immédiatement publier la lettre sur Twitter.

Ainsi, d’une part, l’Église officielle prétend pouvoir dire publiquement que selon sa propre doctrine les « nouvelles » relations sexuelles ne peuvent être juridiquement et politiquement reconnues ; de l’autre, elle dit qu’elle entend continuer à s’engager pour rendre cette reconnaissance possible et réelle.

L’actuel hôte de Saint Pierre nous a habitués à cette praxis du deux pas en avant, un pas en arrière, deux pas en avant, symbole de la révolution arc-en-ciel qu’il entend mener, fin logique de la révolution théologique et doctrinale actée au concile Vatican II. Mais ne nous y trompons pas : cette praxis, même si elle est plus visible et publique ces temps-ci, n’est pas nouvelle au pontificat bergoglien. Les contradictions apparentes ne sont que superficielles, vivre de la contradiction, pour faire avancer le ‘progressisme’ tant religieux que moral, introduire une autre théologie, est une des caractéristiques du modernisme dans lequel se meut l’Eglise conciliaire, duquel se nourrit l’esprit de Vatican II.

Saint Pie X n’écrivait-il pas déjà en 1907, dans sa célèbre encyclique Pascendi Domini contre le modernisme :

« Ce qui exige surtout que Nous parlions sans délai, c’est que, les artisans d’erreurs, il n’y a pas à les chercher aujourd’hui parmi les ennemis déclarés. Ils se cachent et c’est un sujet d’appréhension et d’angoisse très vives, dans le sein même et au coeur de l’Eglise, ennemis d’autant plus redoutables qu’ils le sont moins ouvertement. Nous parlons, Vénérables Frères, d’un grand nombre de catholiques laïques, et, ce qui est encore plus à déplorer, de prêtres, qui, sous couleur d’amour de l’Eglise, absolument courts de philosophie et de théologie sérieuses, imprégnés au contraire jusqu’aux moelles d’un venin d’erreur puisé chez les adversaires de la foi catholique, se posent, au mépris de toute modestie, comme rénovateurs de l’Eglise; qui, en phalanges serrées, donnent audacieusement l’assaut à tout ce qu’il y a de plus sacré dans l’oeuvre de Jésus-Christ, sans respecter sa propre personne, qu’ils abaissent, par une témérité sacrilège, jusqu’à la simple et pure humanité.  (…)

« À les entendre, à les lire, on serait tenté de croire qu’ils tombent en contradiction avec eux-mêmes, qu’ils sont oscillants et incertains. Loin de là : tout est pesé, tout est voulu chez eux… Telle page de leur ouvrage pourrait être signée par un catholique : tournez la page, vous croyez lire un rationaliste », rationaliste qui s’est muté en lobbyiste homosexualiste en Nos Temps ‘arc-en-ciel’.

Tout est pesé, tout est voulu, chez les sectateurs conciliaires pour détruire, sans que la masse de fidèles y prenne garde, hier la doctrine religieuse, liturgique, canonique, aujourd’hui la théologie morale et la morale naturelle.

Supreme Court Chooses Shame in Profanity Cheerleader Case

A seemingly insignificant incident made the headlines that should fill us all with shame. The Supreme Court overwhelmingly ruled in favor of a former cheerleader punished by her high school for a profanity-laced Snapchat post criticizing an official decision.

The 8-1 decision was celebrated as a triumph of First Amendment freedom. Because the post was written off the school campus, the justices claim the Pennsylvania teenager could publically post her crudely worded message cursing the school, softball, cheerleading and “everything.”

“It might be tempting to dismiss (the student’s) words as unworthy of the robust First Amendment protections discussed herein. But sometimes it is necessary to protect the superfluous in order to preserve the necessary,” wrote Justice Stephen Breyer, who penned the majority opinion.

Ironically, all the news media reporting on the case blanked out the f-word she repeatedly used in her rant for not being chosen for the varsity cheerleading team.  Thus, the most liberal media showed much more respect for others by censoring themselves. They had more decency than the teenager—and the Supreme Court. The Court further validated her crude behavior as something “necessary” and worthy of defense.

Rules of an Unwritten Constitution

Indeed, this case is not about the First Amendment at all. It is about the standards of decency and respect that we choose to defend as a society in pursuit of the common good and unity. There have always been norms that define what is acceptable in our dealings with others. These norms are not determined by law or constitutional amendments. They are customary usages that we follow to avoid offense and foster charity.

Russell Kirk correctly observed that “beneath any formal constitution—even beneath our Constitution, the most enduringly successful of such formal documents—lies an unwritten constitution much more difficult to define, but really more powerful: the body of institutions, customs, manners, conventions, and voluntary associations which may not even be mentioned in the formal constitution, but which nevertheless form the fabric of social reality and sustain the formal constitution.”

What is Wrong with Our Supreme Court?

Thus, this discussion is not about what can be said but what should be said. It is not a matter of whether the screed took place on or off-campus. It is all about our unwritten constitution that undergirds every aspect of our lives.

Our society has norms that govern speech and expression. We agree, for example, not to use racist language as one of those unwritten rules. Many still avoid sexually explicit or erotic language out of respect for the human body. Certain things were always considered improper for fourteen-year-old girls and boys to say.  Families taught these things to their children so that they could behave in polite society.

The Supreme Court just decreed there is no such thing as polite society. This decision did nothing to expand our freedom but chained it further to the gutter standards of indecency that turn our lives into a hell of incivility. The court has taken away our sense of shame toward those things that are filthy, vulgar and sinful. We revel in them. Our justices—even those seen as conservative— claim crude words are equal to noble ones. They need not be condemned or lamented but can be proudly voiced and waved triumphantly.

What Has Happened to Our Sense of Shame?

Decisions like this happen when society is unraveling and loses the notion of shame, honor and principle. In this case, the Court improperly validated the smutty behavior that clamors for no restraint. The Justices gave unbridled license to the enslaving passions that fuel the frenetic intemperance of a society that has lost its moral compass. The Court felt free to act because we no longer hold ourselves up to high standards.

When a society has a rich body of philosophical ideas, practices and principles, people apply them to the culture and customs of their lands. This vision creates high standards of behavior, which all are expected to respect. It identifies the lower levels of conduct deemed shameful that are unacceptable, immoral and base.

Today, the lowest of behaviors is the common denominator that dominates our lives. It is determined by the anarchic individual who becomes the center of everything, respecting no rules or restrictions. Our hyper-individualistic world turns everything into an obsession for our well-being and gratification to the point that we identify as whatever we care to be.

Thus, a fourteen-year-old girl feels entitled to curse her school and superiors in a runaway screed. The Supreme Court’s decision gets everything wrong. It subordinates the common good to the coarsest whims of the unruly. Speech is subverted to communicate disorder instead of truth. It glorifies our baser instincts at the expense of the noblest.

The purpose of law is to facilitate the common good and virtuous life in common. In this case, of the foul-mouthed cheerleader, the Supreme Court sided with shame and disorder.

COMMENT: Civil unrest is defivately rising, your models are so good at looking far into the future!
With incidents like this, I really find it interesting reading public comments on social media are empathetic and typically left leaning.
I also find it interesting how ignorant the left are in not realizing that they are violating the “rights” of the right by oppressing their views.
I don’t know where this is going, or when it will end, but people in Canada are definitely polarizing and it’s instigated by our states media
Very happy to see that you are presenting information …… From both sides of the fence as neutral as it can be in these interesting times. Maybe the protesters on both sides will wake up and realize it’s the gov pulling our strings; as did Orwell in 1984.

REPLY: It really is very important to stay neutral. It is absolutely critical to document what you have and to present it without the extreme ranting that so often emerges today. I know a number of people thought I was just a Trump supporter. Now some who criticized me have written to apologize and have now realized this is not a Trump v Biden crisis – this is a global agenda and Trump was just in the way.

We are entering the separatist phase. The civil unrest which is creating polarization is the very thing that leads to the separatist movement. I have been asked to write a book on how the parallels of the decline of Rome are alive and well today. I have been rushing to get this finished. They want this is stores rather than a report so more people will get to see it
